Dijitalleşmenin her alanda kendini gösterdiği ve yaşamın bir parçası olduğu günümüzde geleneksel ödeme ve yatırım araçları da değişmiştir. Blockchain teknolojisi kripto paraların ortaya çıkışını sağlamış; bu paralar ödeme ve değer depolama aracı olarak hızlı bir şekilde dolaşıma girmiştir. Bu araçların para olup olmadığı tartışmalı olsa da değişim aracı olarak kullanıldığı, alışverişe ve değer artışından kâr elde etmeye olanak tanıdığı ve kripto para ekosisteminin giderek büyüdüğü açıktır. Bu çalışmada, ekonomik belirleyiciler içerisinden seçilmiş bazı finansal göstergelerin kripto para getirileri üzerinde etkisinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Konu kripto para ekosistemi içerisinde ilk ortaya çıkan varlık olan ve halen popülaritesini koruyan bitcoin özelinde ele alınmıştır. Yapılan araştırmada ekonomik belirleyiciler içinden seçilmiş finansal göstergelerin (BIST100, NASDAQ, Ham petrol fiyatları, altın, gümüş) Bitcoin fiyatları üzerinde nasıl değişiklik gösterdiği Sınıflandırma Ağacı Analiz Tekniği (CART- Classification and Regression) üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda Bitcoin değeri ile finansal göstergeler arasında yapılan korelasyonda gösterge gücünün gümüş olduğu tespit edilmiştir. |

Traditional financial and investment instruments have evolved in today's society, where digitization permeates every aspect of life and is a field unto itself. The advent of cryptocurrency is a result of blockchain technology. As a payment and value-storage method, these coins went into circulation very fast. The use of these instruments as a medium of exchange, facilitating trade and profiting from their appreciation, is evident even though it is questionable if they qualify as money. The cryptocurrency ecosystem is also expanding. This research aims to quantify the impact of a few chosen financial indicators on bitcoin returns from among economic determinants. The subject is discussed in the case of bitcoin, which is the first asset to emerge in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and still maintains its popularity. In the research, how the financial indicators selected from the economic determinants (BIST100, NASDAQ, crude oil prices, gold, and silver) changed Bitcoin prices was carried out through the Classification Tree Analysis Technique (CART). As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that the indicator power is silver in the correlation between the factor that affects the value of Bitcoin the most and financial indicators. |
