Tarihin başlangıcından itibaren doğayı anlamaya ve onu anlamlandırmaya çalışan insanların inançlarında, oluşturduğu edebî ve sanat ürünlerinde kısacası elinin değdiği her alanda hayvanlar var olmuştur. İlkel dönemlerde doğa ile bir bütün hâlinde olan insanlar birçok hayvanla iç içe yaşamıştır. Fakat yer altı dünyasıyla bağlantısı olduğunu düşündükleri tilkiyi, diğer hayvanlardan farklı bir yere koymuş ve ona kutsallık yüklemişlerdir. Anadolu sahası masalları incelendiğinde tilkinin sadece Türklerde değil, birçok toplumun kültüründe ve yaşamının hemen hemen her alanında var olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Anadolu'da derlenmiş masal çalışmaları taranıp içerisinde tilkinin bulunduğu masal metinleri incelenmiştir. Anadolu Türk masalları merkez olmak üzere tilkinin Türk kültürüyle birlikte diğer kültürlerde hangi özellikleri ile ön plana çıktığı açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Diğer taraftan tilkinin Anadolu masallarında hangi özellikleri ile söz konusu edildiğine yer verilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler : Tilki, Kurnaz, Hilekâr, Masal, Akıllı, Yalancı, Yardım Eden, Anadolu. |

Animals have been a part of the beliefs of people who have been trying to understand and comprehend the nature since the beginning of history, in the literary and artistic products they have created, basically in every field they have been in touch with. People, who were in unity with nature in primitive times, lived intertwined with many animals, however, the fox, which they thought to have a connection with the underworld, was put in a different place from other animals and they attributed sacredness to it. Analyzing the Anatolian fairy tales, it is observed that the existence of the fox is not only in the culture of the Turkish people but also in the culture of many societies and in nearly all aspects of their lives. Fairy tale studies compiled in Anatolia were scanned in this study and fairy tale texts in which the fox was involved were analyzed. The relationship between people and animals in the earliest times was first discussed, then the fox was described with its dictionary meaning and general characteristics, and then it was explained how this animal was included in our oral culture products. It is intended to clarify with which features the fox stands out in Turkish culture and other cultures and with which characteristics it is used in the Anatolian fairy tales.
