This study deals with the new aesthetic experience process that emerged with the audience's participation in contemporary art practices, which have turned into an interdisciplinary experimental field with new materials and expression ways since the second half of the 20th century. In this context, it is aimed to reveal the role of the game as a fun and interactive experience process and the relationship between the artist, the participant, and the artwork, which is effective in the formation of the process. For this purpose, the "spectator" who participates in contemporary art practices through play was redefined as a participant and examined in terms of the relationship between game theory and relational aesthetics. In this context, the role of play in contemporary art practices has been investigated using Huizinga's "Homo Ludens" and Bourriaud's "Relational Aesthetics" theories.Rather than a simple field of childhood and imagination, the study game was carried out from a cultural formation that builds life.Within the framework of this approach, the audience, which is involved in contemporary art practices with the play, has been repositioned in the space, and accordingly, a new understanding of representation has emerged. The aesthetic experience that emerged from the play was attempted to be questioned through five different works of art, depending on the new understanding of representation. |

Bu çalışma, 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren yeni malzeme ve anlatım yolları ile disiplinler arası deneysel bir uygulama alanına dönüşen güncel sanat uygulamalarına izleyicinin oyunla katılımı ile ortaya çıkan yeni estetik deneyim sürecini ele almaktadır. Bu kapsamda eğlenceli ve etkileşimli bir deneyim süreci olarak oyunun rolü ile sürecin oluşmasında etkili olan sanatçı, katılımcı ve sanat eseri arasında ortaya çıkan ilişkinin sorgulanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda güncel sanat uygulamalarına oyunla katılan ‘izleyici' katılımcı olarak yeniden tanımlanmış ve oyun kuramı ile ilişkisel estetik arasındaki ilişki açısından irdelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda güncel sanat uygulamalarına oyunla katılım biçimi Huizinga'nın “Homo Ludens'i” ve Bourriaud'nun “İlişkisel Estetik” kuramları çerçevesinde ele alınarak incelenmiştir. İnceleme oyunu, basit bir çocukluk ve hayal gücü alanından ziyade, yaşamı inşa eden kültürel bir olgudan hareketle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu yaklaşım çerçevesinde güncel sanat uygulamalarına, oyunla katılan izleyici, mekanla yeniden konumlandırılmış ve buna bağlı olarak yeni bir temsil anlayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Yeni temsil anlayışına bağlı olarak oyunla ortaya çıkan estetik deneyim, seçilen beş farklı güncel sanat eseri üzerinden analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. |
