Mesane tümörlerinin % 90'dan fazlası ürotelyal karsinomlardır. Ürotelyal karsinomlar yüksek nüks ve progresyon riskine sahiptir. Mesane karsinomlarının prognozunun ve tedavi yönteminin belirlenmesinde tümörün grade ve evresi esas alınmaktadır. Çalışmamızda S.D.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda 1998-2004 yılları arasında ürotelyal karsinom tanısı almış mesane tümörlü 48 olgu ele alınmıştır. Bunların 15'i grade I, 16'sı grade II, 17'si grade III dereceye sahip tümörlerdir. Olguların 9'u pTa, 22'si pT1, 7'si pT2, 10'u pT3 evrededir. Bu olgularda immünhistokimyasal yöntemle saptanan p53 ve Ki67 immünreaktivitesi ile tümörün progresyonunu gösteren grade ve evre arasında anlamlı düzeyde ilişki görülmüştür. |

Up to 90% of urinary bladder tumors are urothelial carcinomas. Urothelial carcinomas have high risk of recurrence and progression. The grade and stage of tumor are the main factors determining prognosis and treatment method of bladder cancers. 48 cases at bladder tumor diagnosed as urothelial carcinoma, in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Suleyman Demirel University between years of 1998 and 2004 were the subject at this study. 15 of them were grade I, 16 of them were grade II, and 17 of them were grade III tumors. 9 of the cases were stage pTa, 22 of them were pT1, 7 of them were pT2, 10 of them were pT3 tumors. In these cases there are statistically significant correlation between p53 and Ki67 reactivity that have been detected immunhistochemically and grade and stage which reflects tumor progression. |
