dc.description Dental fluorosis with different severities can still be observed in children.s teeth in Isparta which is the endemic fluorosis areas in Turkey. There are problems in bonding of the materials to these teeth and pulp response to the materials. Many studies on electronic hydraulic conductance measurement systems which can give more precise and reliable results of permeability of dentine -a heterogen mineralized tissue than the classical system continues to be made. To the authors. knowledge, while there are only one study on the dentine permeability of fluorotic teeth, any studies has not been observed on permeability of carious primary teeth in the literature. The aim of this in vitro study was measure the permeability of dentine fluorosis or non-fluorosis caries primary teeth precisely by Electronic Hydraulic Conductance Measurement System with Photosensors, and to compare the data with healthy teeth. A total of 270 fluorosis or non-fluorosis caries and non-carious primary 2nd molar teeth crown segment with different resorption level, were selected and used in this study. Dentin permeability data of the teeth were recorded and analyzed statistically. It was finally observed that dentine permeability increases due to the enhancing of the depth of carious in all groups. At the same time it is also revealed that the degree of root resorption increases due to the dentin permeability enhancing in the moderate fluorosis group. Keywords : Caries primary teeth, dental fluorosis, dentine permeability, electronic hydraulic conductance measurement system, primary teeth.
