Kimlik, doğada yer alan tüm canlıların birbirinden ayrılmasını sağlayan özgünlük halidir. Kimliği oluşturan bileşenler ve alt açılımlarında mimari, mekansal ve kentsel kimlik insanlığın ve toplumun geçmişleri ve gelişmeleri açısından önem arz eden konulardır. Kentlerin geçirmiş olduğu dönemler ve o dönemlere ait mimari miraslar kentsel kimlik olgularıdır. Tez kapsamında; farklı dönemlere ilişkin miraslar arasında Isparta'da modernizm etkisinde gelişen mimari anlayış irdelenmiştir. Tezin amacı; Isparta kent kimliğinde modern döneme ait mimari ve toplumsal özellikleri belirlemek ve farklı kentlerde de uygulanmış olan modern dönemin tipik konut mimarisini plan, cephe tipolojisi ve yapım teknolojisi kapsamında incelemektir. Çalışmada Isparta'da yer alan 1950-1970'li yıllara ait modernizm etkisindeki konutların mimari kimliği tanımlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında; birbirine benzemekte ancak yıllara bağlı olarak gelişerek farklılıklar gösteren on konut plan, kesit ve cepheleri ile incelenmiştir. Konutlar rölöve çalışmaları ile yerinde ölçüm yapılarak plan, kesit, görünüş olarak çizilmiştir. Cephe değerlendirmeleri de fotoğraflama tekniği yardımıyla yerinde gözlem ile tespit edilmiştir. Bu dönem yapılarının hem sayısı azalmakta hem de yapılarda bilinçsiz ve mimari kimliği bozacak nitelikte değişiklikler yapılmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışmada dünyada ve Türkiye'de etkisi görülen bir dönemin Isparta kent dokusunda nasıl ve ne şekilde yer aldığı ifade edilerek bu dönem mimari mirasının korunması gerekliliğine dikkat çekilmiştir. Tez; günümüz konut uygulamalarına öncülük etmiş modern dönem konutlarının incelenmesi ile Isparta kent merkezinde bulunan konutların değişim sürecinin değerlendirilmesine yönelik çalışmalara katkıda bulunarak şu an yıkılmış olan bu dönem konutlarının da belgesi olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Identity is an originality state that obtains to seperate to whole living beings from one another in nature. Components that form the identity and architecture, spatial and urban identity of their inferior expansion are important subjects from the point of view of the past and development of humanity and society. The period of the time that the cities have lived in the past and the architectural heritages which have belonged to those periods are the phenomenons of urban identity. In the extent of the thesis; among heritages regarding to different periods, architectural comprehension which has developed in the effect of modernism in Isparta has been studied. The objective of the thesis is to determine the architectural and social characteristics which belong to modern period of time in urban identity of Isparta city and to investigate the typical house architecture of modern period of time which has been constructed in different cities in the extent of plan, facade typology and building technology. In this study; architectural identity of the houses which have been in Isparta and are in the impression of modernism in the years between 1950 and 1970 are defined. In this thesis; ten houses which have resembled to each other but have got differences while developing in years have been studied with plan, cross-section and facades. The houses have been drawn as plan, cross-sections and facade by measuring in their places with techniques of statistical surveys. The facade evaluations have been also determined in the place observation by the help of photography technics. The number of the buildings of this period of time are both decreasing and also some changes which are unconsicous and in the characteristic of damaginig architectural identity have been done in these buildings. Therefore; in this study the recessity of conservation of architectural inheritance of this period has been attacted attention as expressing in how and which situation of a period on texture of Isparta city in which effect of it has been seen both on the world and Turkey. The thesis has carried a characteristic of being document of the houses of this period of time which has been demolished that moment as contributing to the studies that are directed at evaluation of variation process of the houses in the centre of Isparta city with the research of the houses of modern perod of time which make leadership to the house applications of our time.
