Bu çalışmada bornoz üretiminde iş ve zaman etüdü yapılarak birim zamanda daha fazla parça üretimi hedeflenmiştir. Üretim yönetiminin bileşenlerinden olan iş ve zaman etüdünün bornoz üretim sürecindeki katkıları göz önünde bulundurularak, iş ve zaman etüdü kavramları detaylı biçimde anlatılmıştır. Zaman ölçümünde amaç; işin ne kadar sürede yapılacağını tespit etmek ve etkin olmayan sürenin araştırılması, azaltılması ve yok edilmesidir. Zaman ölçümü ayrıca işin yapılması için standart zamanların belirlenmesinde de kullanılır. Zaman etüdü işçilerin ustalık derecelerinin belirlenmesinde, termin tarihlerinin tahmininde, işçilik maliyetlerinin tespitinde de fayda sağlamaktadır. Çalışmada ayrıca havlu kumaşların üretim prosesi ve havlu/bornoz konfeksiyon süreçleri incelenmiştir. Havlu kumaşların üretim teknolojisi, dokuma süreçleri genel açıdan, konfeksiyon süreci ise detaylı biçimde anlatılmıştır. Konfeksiyon sürecinde bornoz türlerine ait dikim adımları incelenerek, zaman ölçümü yapılmıştır. Zaman ölçümünde verimliliği arttırıcı çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. In this study, by performing work and time study in robe production, more pieces areaimed tobe produced per unit of time. By taking into account the contribution of thework and time study for manufacturing process which are the components of production management process, the concepts of work and time study are described in detail. The aim in time measurement is to determine how long it takes to do the job, to investigate the inactive period and to reduce and destroy it.Time measurement is also usedin determining the standard time to get the job done. Time study also providesbenefits in determining the degree of proficiency of workers, in the estimation of meeting deadlines and in setting labor costs. In this study, the manufacturing process of terry cloth and towel/ bathrobe garment production process are also examined. Terry cloth production technology, weaving processed are described in general terms, but garment production process is explained in details. In garment production process, by examing the sewing steps time measurement is made.
