Cevher yataklarının açık işletme ile üretiminde üst örtü katmanlarının alınması ve cevherin kazısında kullanılan basamakların patlatılması, bilhassa örtü tabakalarının ve cevherin sert olması hallerinde çok önemli ve kaçınılmaz bir iştir. Bu nedenle üretim maliyetlerinin en önemli parametrelerinden biri de patlatma deliklerinin delinmesi işidir. Delme işlemlerinde istenen verimde çalışılması durumunda hem işletmede iş organizasyonu hem de üretim maliyetinde verim artışı olacaktır. Bu tez çalışmasında Koza Altın İşletmeleri A.Ş'ye ait Himmetdede' ki ocaklarında kullanılan delici makineler ile farklı uç tipleri kullanılarak delik verimlerinde gerçekleşen değişimlerin incelenmesi planlanmıştır. Delik verimlerinde gerçekleşen değişimlerin incelenmesi amacıyla arazide delik delme hızları (PR) takip edilerek, alınan pasalardan pasa irilik katsayıları (PİK) hesaplanmış ve delik delme işlemlerinin gerçekleştirildiği kayaçların fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bütün veriler değerlendirilerek farklı delici uç tipleri için delme verimlerinde gerçekleşen değişimlerin incelenmesi ile Granitoid ocaklarında gerçekleştirilen delme işlemi için uygun uç tipi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Blasting of rocks and taking the covering layer is inevitable where the ore and covering layer is very hard, on the production of open pit mines. Therefore one of the most important parameters of the production costs is blast hole drilling. It is important to work requested performance in drilling operations for increasing the yield of both business organization and production costs of the mine. In this study, it is aimed to examine the different drill bit perfomances which were used Drilling machines , in the drilling operations in mines, that are belong to Koza Gold Corporation in Himmetdede . Penetration rates (PR) were observed on the field to determine the changes PR, and then the coarseness index (CI) was calculated. Also the physical and mechanical properties of rocks ,that the drilling operations run, were determined. By analysing the all data and the changes of PR, it was tried to determine the suitable drill bit for the drilling operations on Granitoid quaries.
