dc.description Refrigerants used in cooling systems for many years but due to understanding that CFC and HCFC gases ozone depleting these gases prohibited by the Montreal Protocol. Concerns with ODP (ozone depletion potential) and GWP (global warming potential) began to result in restrictions on the use of CFCs and HFCs and these gases have led to interest in other chemical refrigerants that can be used as alternative refrigerants, one of which is carbon dioxide (CO2). When alternative refrigerants start using in refrigeration and heat pump systems CO2 preferred due to it’s thermophsical and thermodynamic properties for provide a number of possibilities. Some possibilities about that CO2 is non-toxic and non-flammable, which provides the selection of installing systems where you want. CO2 has been using refrigeration industry from the growth stage. Nevertheless, around the critical point or above the critical point thermal throw caused decline the cooling effect and due to high operating pressures halocarbon refrigerants has left its place. Because of halocarbon refrigerants adverse effects on the environment, alternative natural refrigerant CO2 re started to be used as a refrigerant. In this study, by studying a heat pump system’s performance analized. Syystem’s parameter’s calculated with the help of Engineering Solver (EES) programme. Keywords: R-744, Transcritical Cycle, Heat Pump System
