Eskiden beri, insanlar parfümlü ve baharatlı bitkilere ilgi duymakta ve bu bitkileri kozmetik, tat, gıda maddeleri ve boyalar gibi pek çok alanda kullanmaktadır. Bu bitkilerden elde edilen bitki ekstraktları ve uçucu yağların bitki hastalıklarına ve zararlılarına olan etkileri ayrıntılı olarak çalışılmıştır. Aromatik bitkilerden biri olan lavanta, Isparta ili için önemli bir bitkidir ve önemi ve yetiştirme alanı her geçen gün artmaktadır. Fakat Türkiye'de lavanta zararlıları üzerine hiçbir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, lavanta bitkisinde bulunan böcek türlerinin tanımlanmasıdır. Lavanta bitkileri ile ilgili böcek faunasının belirlenmesine dair suveyler 2015 yılında Isparta (Türkiye) ilinin iki bölgesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Lavanta bitkileri üzerindeki böcekler üç farklı yöntem (atrap, çukur tuzak ve doğrudan bitki örneklemesi) ile örneklenmiştir. Farklı bölgelerde bulunan lavanta bitkilerinden toplanan tüm böcekler, plastik kaplar içerisinde laboratuara getirilmiştir. Tasnif işleminden sonra, bu böcekler teşhisi yapılmak üzere uzmanlara gönderilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, farklı takımlara (Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera) bağlı böcekler saptanmıştır. En yaygın zararlı türler olarak; Poecilimon glandifer Karabağ (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae), Cercopis vulnerata Rossi (Hemiptera: Cercopidae), Lepyronia coleoprata (L.), Neophilaenus lineatus (L.), Philaenus spumarius (L.), (Hemiptera: Aphrophoridae), Atrococcus achillae (Kiritchenko) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae), Cechenotettix martini (Lethierry) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae), Eurydema ornatum (L.) Since time immemorial, people are concerned about parfumed and spicy plants and these plants were utilized in many areas such as cosmetics, flavors, foodstuffs and dyes. Effects on plant diseases and pests of the plant extracts and essential oils derived from these plants were studied in detail. The lavender which is one of the aromatic plants, is an important plant for Isparta province and its importance and cultivation area is increasing day by day. But there isn't any study on pests of lavender in Turkey. The aim of this study is identification of insects that cause harm on lavender The surveys for the determinetion of insect fauna for lavander plants were performed in 2015 in two locations of Isparta province in Turkey. Insects on lavander plants were sampled by three different methods (sweep net, pitfall and direct plant sampling). All the insects collected from lavander plants in various locations were brought into the laboratory with the help of plastic containers. After classification, all these insects were sent to autorities for identification. As a result, some insect species belonging to different orders (Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera) were determined. The most common pest species were Poecilimon glandifer Karabağ (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae), Cercopis vulnerata Rossi (Hemiptera: Cercopidae), Lepyronia coleoprata (L.), Neophilaenus lineatus (L.), Philaenus spumarius (L.), Philaenus spumarius (L.) (Hemiptera: Aphrophoridae), Atrococcus achillae (Kiritchenko) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae), Cechenotettix martini (Lethierry) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae), Eurydema ornatum (L.)
