Bu tez çalışması, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Alanı içerisinde bulunan 120 m2'lik plastik örtüye sahip serada kök bölgesi sınırlamasının domates bitkisinin gelişimi ve verimi üzerine olan etkilerini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, 14.05.2015 tarihinde 3 faklı boyuttaki saksılara (S1: 11, S2: 16,5 ve S3: 32 litrelik) her saksıya bir bitki gelecek şekilde "Perge" çeşidi sırık domates fideleri dikilmiştir. Çalışma tesadüf parsellerinde 3 faktörlü deneme desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüştür. Her bir konu için tekerrürler dahil 15 saksıda fide dikimi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada 12 konu oluşturulmuştur. 1-I1S1N1, 2-I1S2N1, 3-I1S3N1, 4-I2S1N1, 5-I2S2N1, 6-I2S3N1 7-I1S1N2, 8-I1S2N2, 9-I1S3N2, 10-I2S1N2, 11-I2S2N2, 12-I2S3N2 (I: sulama programı, S: saksı büyüklüğü, N: Gübre uygulama düzeyi). I1: Tüm saksılara en küçük saksıdaki nem azalışı dikkate alınarak su uygulaması, I2: Saksıların büyüklüğü dikkate alınarak nem azalışına göre sulama uygulaması; N1: Her iki sulama programındaki tüm saksılara en küçük saksı hacmi için uygulanan gübre miktarının uygulanması, N2: Saksı hacmi dikkate alınarak gübre uygulaması olmak üzere konular oluşturulmuştur. Sulama suyu damla sulama sistemiyle ve 2 ayrı programa göre uygulanmıştır. Birinci programda 3 farklı boyuttaki saksılara en küçük saksıdaki (11 lt) su azalışı dikkate alınarak sulama öncesi topraktaki mevcut nem yaklaşık %60'a düşünce, tarla kapasitesine gelinceye dek tüm saksılara eşit miktarda su uygulanmıştır. İkinci programda ise, 16,5 ve 32 litrelik saksılardaki mevcut su eksilişi dikkate alınarak her birinin sulama öncesi kendi mevcut nemini tarla kapasitesine getirecek şekilde su uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada, kök sınırlaması uygulamalarıyla hem yüksek verim alınması sağlamış, hem de sulama suyundan önemli ölçüde tasarruf ta sağlanacağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarının ışığı altında, benzer koşullarda sırık domates yetiştiriciliğinde bitki başına 11 litrelik toprak hacminin yeterli olacağı ve elverişli su yaklaşık %60'a düşünce sulama yapılmasının (I1S1) uygun olacağı söylenebilir.
This thesis study was carried out in order to reveal the effects of the restriction of the sera root zone with 120 m2 plastic habitat in the Research and Application Area of Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Agriculture, on the growth and yield of tomato plant. In the study, on the date of 14.05.2015, "Perge" variety pitted tomato felds were planted in a pot with a pot of 3 different sizes (S1: 11, S2: 16,5 and S3: 32 liters). The study was conducted in randomized paradigms in 3 replications according to a 3-factor trial design. For each topic, 15 potted seedlings were planted, including recurrences. Twelve topics have been established in the research. 1-I1S1N1, 2-I1S2N1, 3-I1S3N1, 4-I2S1N1, 5-I2S2N1, 6-I2S3N1, 7-I1S1N2, 8-I1S2N2, 9-I1S3N2, 10-I2S1N2, 11-I2S2N2, 12-I2S3N2(I: irrigation levels; S: pot size, N: fertilizer application level). I1: Water application considering the humidity decrease in the smallest pot of the whole pot, I2: Irrigation application according to humidity decrease considering the size of the pots; N1: Application of the amount of fertilizer to be applied for the smallest pot size of all pots in both irrigation programs, N2: Subject to fertilizer application considering pot size. Irrigation water was applied by drip irrigation system and 2 different programs. Considering the water loss in the smallest pot (11 liters) in the first program with 3 different sizes of pots, the existing moisture in the soil before irrigation was thought to be about 60%, water was applied to the whole pot until the amount of the field capacity. In the second program, water was applied to each of the 16.5 and 32 liter pots, taking into account the existing water loss, so that each of them could bring its existing moisture to field capacity before irrigation. In the study, root restraint applications achieved both high yields and significant savings from irrigation water. Under the light of the results of the study, it can be said that 11 liters of soil volume per plant would be sufficient in the case of straw tomato cultivation under similar conditions, and that irrigation of irrigated water (I1S1) would be suitable for about 60% of available water.
