Bu çalışma, Fethiye Körfezi kıyısal alanları Gastropoda faunasının ortaya konulması amacıyla 5 istasyonun (Aksazlar, Ayten Koyu, Büyük Boncuklu Koyu, Günlüklü Koyu, Karagözler) mediolittoral ve üstinfralittoral bölgelerinden mevsimsel örneklemelerle yürütülmüştür. Çalışma sonunda Gastropoda faunasının Prosobranchia altsınıfına ait 26 türün dağılım gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Bu türlerden Cerithium scabridum, Ergalatax obscura, Strombus persicus, Gibbula adansoni, G. divaricata, G. richardi, G. varia, Osilinus articulatus, O. mutabilis, O. turbinatus bölgede yaygın bulunan taksonlardır. Cerithium lividulum, E. obscura, G. adriatica, G. spratti, Nodilittorina punctata ise Fethiye Körfezi için yeni kayıttır. Fethiye Körfezi kıyısal alanlarının (Aksazlar, Ayten Koyu, Büyük Boncuklu Koyu, Günlüklü Koyu, Karagözler) gerek su kalitesi gerek Gastropoda faunası açısından Akdeniz'in fauna ve ekosistem özellikleri ile benzemektedir. This study was carried out with seasonal sampling from the mediolittoral and supinefralittoral regions of 5 stations (Aksazlar, Ayten Koyu, Büyük Boncuklu Koyu, Günlüklü, Karagözler) in order to determined the Gastropoda fauna of the coastal areas of the Gulf of Fethiye. At the end of the study, it was determined that the Gastropoda faunas in the medilittoral and suprafinalittoral regions of the stations exhibited a distrubuted of 26 species of the Prosobranchia subclass. Among these species, Cerithium scabridum, Ergalatax obscura, Strombus persicus, Gibbula adansoni, G. divaricata, G. richardi, G. varia, Osilinus articulatus, O. mutabilis, O. turbinatus are widely distributed taxons. Cerithium lividulum, E. obscura, G.spratti, G. adriatica, Nodilittorina punctata are new registrations for Fethiye Golf. As a result, it is determined that either water quality or Gastropoda fauna of the Mediterranean Bay coastal areas resembles to the fauna and ecosytsyem characteristics of Mediterranean.
