Araştırma; zambakta rizom verimi, uçucu yağ oranı, resinoid oranı ve kompozisyonuna hasat dönemlerinin etkisini inceleme amacıyla 2016 yılında yürütülmüştür. Isparta ilinin Kuyucak kasabasında 3 yaşındaki Iris germanica türüne ait tarladan Tesadüf Blokları Deneme Desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü olarak parseller oluşturulmuştur. Hasat; nisan ayından eylül ayına kadar (6 dönem) her ayın ortasında yapılmıştır. Iris germanica türünde rizom sayısı, bitki başına rizom ağırlığı, yaş rizom verimi, kuru rizom verimi, uçucu yağ oranı, resinoid oranı ve kompozisyonu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, hasat dönemlerine göre Iris germanica'nın rizom verimi ve incelenen bitkisel özellikler arasındaki farklar istatistiksel olarak önemli olmuştur. Iris germanica 'nın rizom sayısı 3.27-6.47 adet/bitki, rizom ağırlığı 85.55-186.52 g/bitki, yaş rizom verimi 972.8-1651.2 kg/da, kuru rizom verimi 212.33-457.50 kg/da, hasat sonrası uçucu yağ oranı ve verimi sırasıyla %0.057-0.076, 0.123-0.300 L/da, depolanan rizomlarda uçucu yağ oranı ve verimi %0.10-0.14, 0.25-2.50 L/da, hasat sonrası rizomlarda resinoid oranı ve verimi %8.00-10.57, 18.370-41.067 kg/da, depolanan rizomlarda resinoid oranı ve verimi %6.95-10.45, 22.063-41.060 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. Iris rizomlarının uçucu yağında kaliteyi belirleyen α- iron ve ɣ-iron bileşenlerinin oranı hasat sonrası elde edilen uçucu yağda sırasıyla, %16.1-27.7 ve 23.4-50.8, depolanan rizomlarda uçucu yağda ise %29.4-31.2 ve %55.2-59.2 arasında değişmiştir. Research was conducted to examining the effect of harvest periods on rhizoma yield, essential oil content and essential oil composition in Iris in 2016 year. Iris germanica field in Kuyucak town of Isparta which plant 3 years were constituted as 3 replications plots according to randomized block experimental design. Harvest was made in the middle each month from April to September (6 periods). Number of rhizome, rhizome weight per plant, wet rhizome yield, dry rhizome yield, essential oil ratio, resinoid ratio and composition in the Iris germanica were determined. In the study, differences between rhizome yield and examining characteristics of Iris germanica according to harvesting periods were statistically significant. Number of rhizomes of Iris germanica varied between 3.27-6.47, rhizome weight 85.55-186.52 g per plant, fresh rhizome yield 972.8-1651.2 kg da-1, dry rhizome yield 212.33-457.50 kg da-1, essential oil content and yield of rhizomes after harvest 0.057-0.076%, 0.123-0.300 L da-1, essential oil ratio and yield in stored rhizomes 0.10-0.14%, 0.25-2.50 L da-1, resinoid ratio and yield of rhizomes after harvest 8.00-10.57%, 18.370-41.067 kg da-1, resinoid ratio and yield in stored rhizomes 6.95-10.45%, 22.063-41.060 kg da-1, respectively. Rate of α-iron and ɣ-iron components that determine to qualities in essential oil of Iris rhizomes in after harvest varied between 16.1-27.7% and 23.4-50.8% and 29.4-31.2% and 55.2-59% in the essential oil stored rhizomes, respectively.
