Tahir Çağatay, sosyolojinin pozitif bir ilim olarak şekillendiği bir zamanda ülkemize gelmiş ve eserleriyle Türk sosyolojisine önemli katkılarda bulunmuştur. O, Max Weber ve Werner Smart gibi iktisadi sosyolojiye bağlayan iki büyük sosyoloğun çizgisinde yetişmiştir. Bu itibarla, ekonomi üzerinde daha çok durmuştur. Bu çalışmanın ekonomi ile ilgili bölümünde Çağatay'ın ekonomiye bakış açışı, çağımızın iki büyük iktisadi sistemi olan "Kapitalizm" ve "Marxizm" etrafında ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, özellikle Çağatay'ın kapitalizm üzerindeki değerlendirmeleri ile kapitalizmin, Hristiyan Kilisesi'nin manevi ve ahlaki değerlerini istismarı dolayısıyla din-ekonomi ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Çağatay, Türkistan'da doğup büyümüş olmasından dolayı marxizmi, kapitalist bir Avrupa ülkesi olan Almanya'da yetişmesinden dolayı da kapitalizmi bizzat görüp yaşamıştır. Böylece her iki sistemi bir ilim adamı olarak daha objektif değerlendirme fırsatı bulmuştur. Çalışmanın aile ile ilgili bölümünde, ailenin toplumun yapısına göre değişkenlik gösteren toplumsal bir müessese olması üzerinde durulmuştur. Çağatay bunu, tarihi seyir içerisinde özellikle kapitalist ekonomi şartlarının aileye olan büyük etkileriyle ortaya koymaya çalışmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşturulmuştur: Birinci bölümde, Tahir Çağatay'ın hayatı ve ilmi şahsiyeti ile eserleri ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde, Tahir Çağatay'ın ekonomiye bakış açısı, iktisat sosyolojisinin tarihi gelişimiyle çağımızın iki büyük iktisadi sistemi olan "Kapitalizm" ve "Marxizm" etrafında ortaya konmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Tahir Çağatay'ın aile ile ilgili görüşleri doğrultusunda genel manada aile konusu ele alınmıştır. |

Tahir Çağatay has come to our country when the sociology was embodied as an positive science and has given important donation to Turkish sociology. He followed the methods of two big sociologist and Werner Sombart who relates the economics to sociology. Therefore he mostly emphasised on economics. In economics part of this study, Çağatay's point of view to economics has been analysed as related with two big economics systems "Marxism" and "Capitalism". In this study, we specially studied Çağatay's critics on Capitalism exploitation of moral and spiritual values of Christian Church by Capitalism by reason of relation and economics. He was born and lived in Turkistan therefore he knows Marxism and he was grown up in an Europuan country Germany by reason of this he knows capitalism. Thus he could criticise objectively as a scientist both of the systems. In family part both of the systems. Studied on family as a social institution which changes according to society's construction. Çağatay, tries to explain this in its historical progress specially with important effects on family in capitalist economics conditions. This study consist of three parts: In first part we studied Tahir Çağatay's life and his scientific character with his studys. In second part we studied his point of view about economics with historical developments of economics sociology as related two big economic systems "Marxism" and "Capitalism". In third part we studied, Tahir Çağatay's views about family and generally family subject. |
