Klasik ekonomik sipariş miktarı modelinin temel varsayımı, ürünlerin % 100 ünün kusursuz olmasıdır. Bu varsayım üretim çevrelerinin çoğu için geçerli olmayabilir. Bu çalışmada, klasik ekonomik sipariş miktarı modeli varsayımlarının bazıları genişletilerek yeni bir model önerisi geliştirilmiştir. Bu yeni model önerisi ile planlama dönemi boyunca, talebin sabit ve sürekli olduğu varsayımıyla, kusurlu üretimin olduğu durumda, toplam maliyeti minimum yapan ekonomik sipariş miktarı elde edilmiştir. Önerilen modelde stoksuzluğa izin verilmektedir. Ayrıca klasik ekonomik sipariş miktarı modelinin temel varsayımlarından birisi olan; üretilen ürünlerin tümünün kusursuz olduğu varsayımından da vazgeçilmiştir. Modelde Taguchi kayıp fonksiyonu kullanılmakta ve ürünlerin kusur oranının belli bir olasılık dağılımı gösterdiği varsayılmaktadır. Geliştirilen model için sayısal bir örnek verilmiştir. The basic assumption of the classical economic order quantity model is that 100% of produced items are perfect. This assumption may not be valid for most of the production environments. In this study, a new model proposal is developed by releasing some of the assumptions of classical economic order quantity model. With this new model proposal, throughout the planning process, the economic production quantity that minimizes that cost is achieved with constant and permanent demand assumption and defective production conditions. In the proposed model, shortage is allowed. Also, one of the basic assumptions of classical economic order quantity model -all the produced items are flawless- is released. In the model, Taguchi loss function is used and it is assumed that the rate of defective items produced shows certain probability distribution.
