Bu çalışma hastane yönetim şekillerini, aksaklıkları irdelemeyi ve yönetsel bazda çözüm önerileri sunmayı amaçlamıştır. Çalışma yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde hastane kavramı, kapsamı ve türleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiş. Tarihsel süreçte hastanelerin gelişimi anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde yönetim kavramı üzerinde durulmuş, yönetim çeşitleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Türkiye'de hastane yönetimi uygulamaları irdelenmiş; hastanelerde yönetim-organizasyon ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuş ve mevcut örgüt şeması hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde dünyadaki hastane yönetimi uygulamalarından örnekler verilmiş, alternatif organizasyon tipleri üzerinde durulmuş ve çeşitli ülkelerin yönetim uygulamalarından örnekler verilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde 34 başhekimi kapsayan bir anket çalışması yapılmış ve yönetim sorunları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Altıncı bölümde hastanelerde reorganizasyon kavramı üzerinde durulmuş, son bölümde de günümüz şartlarına uygun yeni yönetim şeması ve görev tanımlamaları yapılmış ve işletme yönetimi kavramının hastanelerin gelecek dönemleri için önemli olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur. This study aims to consider the hospital management forms, defects and to offer solutions in the administrative base. The study consists of seven chapters. In the first part of the study information given about hospital concept, scope and type, Development of the historical process in the hospitals is described. The second section focuses on the concept of management, information about the types of management is given. In the third section, the hospital management practices in Turkey have been examined; management-organisation relationship in the hospitals is emphasized and informed about the current organization chart. Fourth section focuses on alternative types of organization and examples are given from the management practices of various countries. The fifth chapter includes a questionnaire of 34 chief of staff, and management problems are tried to put forward. In the sixth chapter concept of reorganization in the hospital is focused on, in the last section new management scheme and task descriptions suitable for today's conditions are discussed and is emhpasized that the concept of business management of hospitals is important for future periods.
