Bu tezin amacı; teknolojinin gelişmesi ile birlikte yok olmaya yüz tutmuş sözde anlatım geleneğinden biri olan masalların derlenerek gelecek nesillere aktarılmasına katkı sağlamaktır. Bu doğrultuda Burdur ili Bucak ilçesinde yaşayan kaynak şahıslardan 50 adet masal dinlenip kaydedilmek suretiyle toplanmış ve derlenmiştir. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde Bucak ilçesinin coğrafi, tarihi, sosyo kültürel ve ekonomik yapısı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Bucak masallarının tipleri tespit edilerek, Eberhard-Boratav ve Aarne-Thompson kataloglarındaki tip numaraları ile motif sıraları verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Bucak masallarındaki ortak unsurlar; Kahramanlar, Mekan, Eşya ve Masalların Formel Yapısı başlıkları altında incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise; masal metinlerine yer verilmiştir. Bu metinler yine Eberhard-Boratav kataloğundaki tip sırasına göre düzenlenmiştir. Son olarak kaynak şahıslar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. This thesis aims to contribute to the collection of the tales, examples of oral tradition which are disappearing with the development of technology, and narration of them to the next generations. 50 tales were collected and compiled by listening the people living in Burdur, Bucak and recording of them. In the introduction, information on the geographical, historical, socio-cultural and economic structure of Bucak was given. In the first part the type of Bucak tales was determined and their motive orders and type numbers in Eberhard Boratav and Aarne Thompson catalogues were given. In the second part the common elements of tales of Bucak were analyzed under the following headings: Characters, Setting, Objects, and the Formal Structure of the Tales In the third part the tale texts are given. These texts were organized in accordance with the type order in Eberhard-Boratav catalogue. Finally information about the resource people was given.
