Meslek yüksekokulu meslek elemanı yetiştiren iki yıllık eğitim süreli bir eğitim birimidir. Öğrenciler mezun olduktan sonra meslek elemanı unvanı alarak kamu ve özel sektörlerin ilgili alanlarında istihdam edilirler. Fakat öğrenciler program tercihlerinde bilinçsiz ve bilgisiz davrandıkları için eğitime başladıktan sonra fikir değişikliği yaşayabilmektedirler. Meslek seçimi konusunda yapılan birçok araştırma ve gözlemde öğrencilerin çoğu hangi programı seçtiklerinden bile haberdar değiller ve programı okuduktan sonra nerelerde istihdam edileceklerini bilmedikleri tespit edilmektedir. Öğrencilerin seçimlerinden pişman olmamaları ve bilinçlenmeleri için lise de daha fazla rehberlik hizmetine gerek görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, öğrencilerin önlisans programını asıl olarak tercih etme sebeplerini belirlemek ve olumsuzlukları tespit ederek gelecek nesile bu olumsuzlukların izahı ile önlisans programlarının gerçek ve olumlu tarafının aktarılmasını sağlamaktır. Bu nedenle Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Emirdağ Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinden rassal olarak seçilen 125 öğrenci ile anket yapılmış ve bu anket sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğrencilerin kendi programlarını tercih etmelerinin en önemli sebepleri olarak, gelecekte iyi bir iş imkânına sahip olma umudu ve dikey geçiş sınavı ile fakülteye geçme arzusu olduğu saptanmıştır. |

Vacational high school is a two year training unit that educate Professional staff. After graduating student are employed in the related areas of both public and private sector by tanking a profession title. But as the students behave unconscious and ignorant in their preference of programme, thay can live some riversal of opinion after starting education. As a result of many researchs and observations on choosing a profession, it is determined that many of the students are unaware of which programmethye have choosen and they even dont know where they can be employed after studying that programme. It is necessary for the students to get much more guidance at high school to be conscious and not to be regretful about their preferencess. In this study it is aimed to determine the main reasons of students to prefer the associate degree and it is aimed to show the explanations of negativeness and real positive sides of associate degree to the next generation by determining the negativeness.For this reason a survery is done with the students randomly choosen among the students of Afyon Kocatepe University Emirdağ Vacation High School and this survey results are evaluated. According to the findings got from the research it is determined that the most important reasons of students to prefer their own programmes are the hope of having a good job in the future and the desire to pass to the faculty with the vertical pass exam. |
