Günümüz Türkiye'sinde türban gündemde fazlaca yer alan konuların başında gelmektedir. Zaman zaman önemini yitirmiş gibi görünsede türban sorunu aslında sadece üzeri örtülen ve daha sonra yeniden sorgulanmaya başlanan bir konu olarak süregelmektedir. Özellikle 1980'ler ve 2000'li yıllardan sonra sürdürülen türban tartışmaları ve sonrasında ortaya çıkan İslami yükselişin temel aldığı konu inanç eksenli gelişmiştir. Bu noktada İslami hareketlilikle birlikte farklı bakış açıları ortaya çıkmıştır. Kadınlar bu sürecin içinde nesne olarak yer almışlar, kimlik, özgürlük ve özneleşmek adına mücadeleye başlamışlardır. Kadınların istekleri doğrultusunda kamusal alanda .kadın. kimliğiyle yer alma mücadelesi, türbanın simge olarak algılanması ve modernizm bağlamında örtünme ve türbana bakış sosyolojik olarak ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışma Isparta iliyle sınırlandırılmış olup, derinlemesine mülakat tekniği uygulanmış ve sorgu alanlarına cevap aranmıştır. In Modern Turkey turban located at the begining of the issues that on the agenda too. Although turban seems that have lost its importance from time to time,has been goingon only started to be questioned again later and covered over as a topic. Especially sustained after 1980 and 2000s turban debates and the subject that based on the resulting after the rise of islamic fundamental issue is developed faith-axis. At this point different perspectives has emerged with islamic movement. At this process women took place as objects,began to fight on behalf ofidentity,freedom and subjectification. In accordance to the demands of women,in the public sphere to take part in the struggle with "woman" identity, turban as a symbol detection and in the context of modernism discussed as a sociological to veil and turban. In this context study restricted to the province of ısparta,interview technique applied in-depth and answers were sought to thequery fields.
