Gelişen teknolojinin ve rekabet gücünün ön plana çıktığı günümüzde nitelikli işgücüne duyulan ihtiyacın artması, mesleki teknik eğitim sisteminin işgücü piyasasının ihtiyaçlarına göre yeniden değerlendirilmesini gündeme getirmiştir. Amacı ara eleman ihtiyacını karşılamak olan mesleki teknik eğitim kurumlarının gelişen teknoloji ve işgücü piyasasının vasıf talebine uyum sağlayacak şekilde yeniden yapılandırılmasına ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.Mesleki teknik eğitimin istihdame dilebilirlik üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya koymayı amaçlayan çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde istihdam, mesleki teknik eğitim ve istihdam edilebilirlik kavramlarına yer verilmiş olup, ikinci bölümde ise Türkiye ve AB ülkelerinde mesleki ve teknik eğitim sistemleri irdelenmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde Isparta Ticaret Odasına kayıtlı, İmalat Sanayi'nde faaliyet gösteren firmaların yetkililerinin mesleki teknik eğitim mezunlarına bakış açıları incelenmiş ve mezunların istihdam edilebilirlikte, terfilerde ve aldırılacak hizmet içi eğitimde öncelikli olup olmadığı konuları araştırılmıştır. The rise of need for the qualified labourforce in our day when the developing technology and competition power have come to theforefront brought forward the issue of reorganizing the vocational technical educationsystem according to the labour force marketneeds. Vocational technical education institutions whose aim is to meet intermediate staff need reorganizing in such a way as to comply with the developing technology and quality demand of the labour force market. In the first part of our study which aims to reveal the effects of the education on the employability, the concepts of employment, vocational technical education, and employability are given place, while in the second one vocational and technical education systems in Turkey and EU countries are examined. In the last part of the study, the viewpoints of the executives of the companies,which are registered in the Chamber of Commerce of Isparta and work in the Manufacturing Industry, regarding the graduates of vocational technical education are analyzed, and the question of whether these graduates are of top priority in employability, promotions as well as in-service trainings is studied.
