Roma Dönemi takıları, takı tarihi açısından çok önemli bir yere sahiptir.Roma döneminde Anadolu takıları, yer yer Helenistik dönemin izlerini taşımakla beraber daha sonraları kendi tarzını oluşturmuş ve altın ile değerli taşların bir arada kullanımının en güzel örneklerini vermişlerdir. Romalı kuyumcular buldukları stampa ve savat teknikleriyle kuyumculuğu daha da ileri bir noktaya taşımışlardır.Antalya Müzesinde sergilenen takılar, ağırlıklı olarak Roma Dönemi olmak üzere Helenistik, Bizans ve Demir çağına aittir. Bu çalışma kapsamına dahil edilen takılar, teknik, malzeme, form ve süsleme teknikleri bağlamında incelenmiştir.Dönemi bilinmeyen takılar ise, teknik ve süsleme öğelerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Roman Period jewelry has an important place in the history of jewelry.Anatolian jewelry during the Roman period showed itself with traces of the Hellenistic period in patches first but later created its own style and gave the most beautiful examples of the use of a combination of gold and precious stones. Roman goldsmiths carried jewelry to a pointfurther by stamp and niello techniques which they invented.The jewels exhibited at the Antalya Museum belong to predominantly Roman Period and also Hellenistic, Byzantine and Iron Age. The jewels included in this study were investigated according to their materials, forms, and construction and decoration techniques. At the research performed on the jewels which belong to unknown period, assessment was made according to their production techniques and decorative items.
