Yaşanılan finansal krizler, makro ve mikro anlamda, tüm ekonomik birimleri çeşitli derecelerde etkilemektedir. Bu etkilenmenin derecesi, ülkeden ülkeye, firmadan firmaya değişebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, 2008 finansal krizin Denizli'de faaliyet gösteren tekstil sektörünü nasıl etkilediği incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda öncelikle krizlerle ilgili literatür taraması özetlenmektedir. 1990 sonrası finansal krizler incelenmiş, bu kapsamda 1997 Asya Krizi ile 2001 Şubat krizleri araştırılmıştır. Tekstilin Türkiye için istihdam hacmi, dış ticaret açısından önemi belirtildikten sonra tekstilin lokomotifi olan Denizli'yi finansal krizin nasıl etkilediği incelenmek amacıyla finansal tablolardan faydalanılmıştır.Uygulama kapsamında 2008 finansal krizin etkilerini değerlendirmek amacıyla Denizli'de tekstil sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların üst yöneticileri ya da sahipleri üzerinde bir araştırma anketi uygulanmaktadır. Bu sayede, Denizli'de tekstil sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların kriz sürecinde karşılaştığı finansal sorunlar ve uyguladıkları finansal eylem ve önlemleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. The economic crisis that we go through effect all the economical units in both micro and macro meanings. The degree of this effect can change from country to country, firm to firm. In this study, haw this financial crisis that occured in 2008 effected the textile sector that is active in Denizli.In this context, first, literature scaning was abridged. The crisis that occured after 1990 were analyzed and in this context the crisis that occured in Asia and in 2001 were searched.The financial tables were used to analyze how the economic crisis effected Denizli, the heart of textile sector, after stating the importance of the employment capacity of textile sector and ıt’s essence in foreign trade. In the context of application, to evaluate the effects of financial crisis that occured in 2008, a survey was applied on the owners or top executives of textile sector. Thanks to this the financial problems that were confronted, the cautions that were taken by the firms which are related to textile sector in Denizli, were tried to be displayed.
