Bu tezin amacı, Pisidia Antikheia antik kentinde bulunan hamam (?) yapısının evreleri, işlevi ve tarihini belirlemektir. Tezin araştırılmasında ilk önce belgeleme çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Yapının plan ve kesit çizimleri yapılıp, genel ve detay fotoğrafları çekilmiştir. Daha önce yapılan çalışmalar hakkında bilgi toplanmıştır.Bunun yanında kentin Roma Kolonizasyon ve Hıristiyanlık dönemleri araştırılarak yapı ile bağlantı kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu iki dönemin araştırılmasının nedeni, yapının dış duvarlarının kentin Roma İmparatorluğu döneminde, oda bölümleri ve ikinci kattaki duvarlarında doğusunda yer alan Kuzey Kilise ile bağlantılı olduğunun düşünülmesidir. Bu amaçla tanımlaması yapılan binanın kent tarihindeki yerinin anlaşılmasına çalışılmıştır. Plansal özelliklerinin yanında epigrafik, nümizmatik ve seramik bulgularda değerlendirilmiştir. Benzer yapılarla karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, yeterli arkeolojik bulgu olmadığı için binanın farklı zamanlarda hamam, savunma yapısı, bazı bölümleri sarnıç ve depo olarak kullanılmış olabilir. Kesin olan sonuç, şu an görünen bina asıl işleve sahip bir sonraki katın taşıyıcısıdır. Ancak taşıyıcı olan kısımdaki odalar da depo veya sarnıç gibi çeşitli işlevlere sahip olmalıdır. The purpose of this article is to determine the function, date and phases of The Bath (?) founded in the ancient site Antiochia in Pisidia. Foremost worked in documantaion for article. Then technical drawing of the plan and sections were finished and general and detail photograph were taken. Informations about previously studies were gathered.Besides Roman Colonization and Byzantine periods of the site was searched and was tried to come into contact with the construction. The reason to search these two period is that the exterior walls of the construction are thought to be related with Roman Period and the second floor walls are thought to be related with The Basilica on the east. For this purpose it was tried to understand the place of the construction which is identified, in the history of the city. In addition to the plan, epigraphical, numismatics and ceramics findings were considered. And it was compared to the similar constructions.Result of this research, there is sufficient archaeological discoveries of the building at different times, a hammam, a defensive structure, some parts of the cistern and may be used as a warehouse. What is certain is the result of the next layer is currently visible building, with the main function carrier. However, at the rooms, which the carrier has various functions such as tank or cistern should be. Keywords: Bath, Colonization, Military Garrison, Legionary, defence, Bishopric Center. |
