Bu çalışmanın amacı dünyadaki göç süreçlerinin değişime uğramasıyla birlikte Türkiye'de de değişen ve son 30 yıldır yoğun olarak yaşanan uluslararası insan kaçakçılığı ile bağlantılı göçün aktörleri olan mülteci ve sığınmacıları içinde bulundukları koşullarla birlikte ele almaktır. Çalışmamızda mülteci ve sığınmacıların Türkiye’de yerleştirilmiş oldukları uydu kentlerdeki yaşamlarında sosyal, dinsel, siyasal, cinsel ve ekonomik faktörlerin etkisi ile yaşadıkları ayrımcılıkların tespit edilmesi ve uydu kentlerde birlikte yaşadıkları insanları nasıl algıladıkları, yaşanılan sürecin niteliğinin nasıl olduğunu anlamak amaçlanmıştır.Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, amacı, önemi, sınırlılıkları ve kapsamı hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde, göç türleri, mülteci ve sığınmacı kavramları tanımlanmıştır. Dünya ölçeğinde mülteci ve sığınmacı meselesi ele alınmış uluslararası hukukta iltica ve mülteci, sığınmacı statüsü incelenmiştir. Ve son noktada bu olguların Türkiye’deki görünüm ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışmamızın üçüncü bölümde ise araştırmanın yöntemi, araştırmanın problemleri ve çalışmada kullanılan teknikler verilmiştir. Çalışmamızın son bölümü olan dördüncü bölümde ise mülteci ve sığınmacılarla alan çalışmasında yapılan görüşmeler, tablolar halinde metinin anlamsal bütünlüğü göz önünde bulundurarak yazıya aktarılmıştır. Metne aktarılan görüşmeler kategorilere ayrılarak yeniden değerlendirilmiştir. Son bölümde problemleri bağlamında genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Sahadan aldığımız veriler bize göstermiştir ki mülteci ve sığınmacıların Türkiye’ye yönelik algıları uydu kentlerde yaşanılan sorunlardan ve deneyimlerden bağımsız değildir. The aim of this study is to examine the refuges and asylum seekers in the refuge and asylum seeker immigration that has changed in Turkey along with the changes in the world and that has occurred extensively over the last three decades. In our study, we aim to determine the discriminations that refugees and asylum seekers experience in the satellite cities in which they have been placed due to social, religious, political, sexual and economic factors and how they perceive the people they live with and the quality of the process undergone. In the first section of our study, information on the field and range of the study has been presented. In the second section, types of immigration, the terms refugee and asylum seeker has been defined. The issue of refugee and asylum seeker has been dealt with on a global scale and the status of refuge, refugee and asylum seeker in international law has been studied and the view of these concepts in Turkey has been presented. In the third section of this study, the approach of the study, the problems in the study and the techniques used in the study have been detailed. In the final, the fourth, section of our study, the interviews that have been made with refugees and asylum seeker on the field have been transcribed as tables, bearing the contextual integrity in mind. The interviews transcribed have been re-evaluated by putting them into categories. In the final stage, an overall evaluation regarding the problems in our study has been made. The data gathered on the field has shown us that the perception by the refugees and asylum seekers of Turkey is not independent of the problems and experiences they go through in their satellite cities.
