Küreselleşen ve sermayeler açısından sınırların kalktığı günümüz dünyasında kurumsal yönetim işletmeler açısından bir gereklilik halini almıştır. İşletmeler sermaye çekme yarışında kurumsal yönetime daha fazla önem vermeye başlamıştır. Kurumsal yönetimin etkin bir şekilde uygulandığı işletmelerde pek çok yönde etkisi olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kurumsal yönetimin işletmelere finansal açıdan etkileri araştırılmakta ve olumlu bir etkisi olacağı düşünülmektedir. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kurumsal yönetim kavramı, literatür taraması yapılmış ve İMKB Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksi tanıtılmış, ikinci bölümde bir finansal değerlendirme aracı olarak oran analizi yöntemi anlatılmış, üçüncü bölümde ise 2007, 2008 yıllarında İMKB Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksine dahil olan imalat işletmelerinin önce yıllara göre oran analizi yapılmış daha sonra endekse girmeden önceki ve sonraki finansal durumları ampirik olarak incelenmiş ve anlamlılık düzeyi test edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda kurumsal yönetimin tek başına finansal performansına bir etkisinin olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir. In today's globalized world without borders and capitals in terms of corporate governance has become a necessity for businesses. Businesses vie for the capital began to give more importance to corporate governance. Corporate governance is a positive effect of applied effectively in many enterprises. This study investigated the effects of corporate governance, financial firms, and is considered to be a positive influence. Work consists of three parts. In the first chapter the concept of corporate governance, literature and introduced the ISE Corporate Governance Index, the second part, as a means of financial ratio analysis method of evaluation described in the third section, the 2007, 2008 years before the ISE Corporate Governance Index, manufacturing enterprises are included in the rate analysis was conducted for the years then examined before and after entering the index of financial situation and the level of significance was tested empirically. As a result of the analysis of corporate governance alone has no effect on the financial performance were observed.
