Bu çalışmanın amacı, Osmanlıdan günümüze kadar meşhur olmuş bir va'z kitabı olan Şir'atü'l-İslam’ın yeme ve içme bölümündeki hadislerinin sahih olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır.Çalışma giriş, birinci ve ikinci bölümden oluşmuştur. Girişte eserin kısa bir tanıtımı yapıldıktan sonra çalışmanın amacı ve önemi üzerinde durulmuştur.Birinci bölümde, Şir'atü'l-İslam’ı yazan İmamzâde Muhammed b. Ebî Bekir ve şerh eden Seyyid Alizâde (Yakub b. Seyyid Ali) hakkında bilgi verilmiş, hayatları, eserleri ve çalışmaları kısaca tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca, şerh edilen bu eserin diğer şerhleri ve tercümeleri tanıtılmış, eserin şerh usulü, kaynakları, hadislerinin sened ve metin bilgisi ile sıhhat bakımından genel durumları kısaca arz edilmiştir.Çalışmanın ana bölümünü teşkil eden ikinci bölümde, Şir'atü'l-İslam’daki yeme ve içmeyle ilgili hadislerin tahric ve değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.Çalışmanın sonucunda söz konusu eserde geçen hadislerin yarıdan çoğunun güvenilir olmadığı anlaşılmış ve Şir'atü'l-İslam adlı eserin hadis yönünden itibar edilebilir bir eser olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. The objective of this study is to find out the reliability of the sayings and traditions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on nutrition behaviour cited in one of the famous preaching book of Sir'atu'l-Islam which is widely known since the Ottoman time until today.This study is divided into three sections; Introduction, first section and second section. Information on the book is given and the importance of this study is stated in the introduction section.In the first section includes the information and short life stories, studies etc. of the author of Sir'atu'l-Islam, Imamzâde Muhammed b. Ebî Bekir and the one who commented on the book Seyyid Alizâde (Yakub b. Seyyid Ali) were given. Besides, short information was provided on the other comments and translations of this book, their methods, sources and also the evidences of the sayings of Prophet ( peace be upon him) in order to analyse the reliability of them.The main section of the study is the second section where the sources and analysis of the saying of the prophet (peace be upon him) on nutrition were focused.At the final section, it is understood that most of the so-called sayings of Prophet (peace be upon him) on nutrition that were mentioned in Sir'atu'l-Islam are proved to be not true and reliable. It is concluded that this book is not realisable from the point of view of Prophet (peace be upon him)’s saying and traditions. Keywords: Sir'atu'l-Islam, Imamzâde Muhammed b.
