Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in doğru bir şekilde anlaşılabilmesi için öncelikle içinde geçen kelime ve kavramların bütünlük arz eden bir sistem dâhilinde, tutarlı bir yaklaşımla incelenmesi; ifade ettikleri anlamların ve kavram alanlarının da tam olarak tespit edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu amaçla elinizdeki çalışmada, Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de yer alan önemli kavramlardan biri olan “hamd” incelenmiştir.Türkçede övgü, senâ, şükür, ve medh gibi karşılıkları olan “hamd”, aslı itibariyle eksiksiz ve mükemmel mânâda yapılan övgünün adıdır. Bir kavram olarak ise “hamd”i, “nimet olsun olmasın, iradeye dayalı (ihtiyârî) güzelliği, ta’zîm kastıyla, gönül hoşnutluğu içerisinde ve güzel bir şekilde övmek” diye tanımlamak mümkündür.Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de farklı türevleriyle birlikte 68 yerde geçen “حمد /hamd”, Allâh’a has kılınan ve O’nu övmek için kullanılan bir kavramdır. Söz konusu kavram Kur’ân bütünlüğü içerisinde, bütün hamdlerin ve övgülerin yalnızca Allâh’a âit olduğunu ifade etmektedir.Bu çalışmada, “hamd” kelimesi önce semantik analiz yöntemiyle tahlil edilmiş ve bu kelimenin benzer övgü lafızlarıyla olan münâsebeti incelenmiştir. Sonra ise “hamd” kavramı, Kur’ân bütünlüğü açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Kur’ân, Hamd, Şükür, Medh, Zemm, Hicv, Semantik Analiz. |

In order to understand the Holy Qur’ân and its messages properly, it is first required to investigate and determine the exact meanings of concepts, words and expressions and their with a wholistic and coherent approach. Based on this fact, the concept of “hamd”, which is one of the most important concepts of the Holy Qur’ân, is examined in this research.Expressed and translated as övgü, sena, şükür and medh in Turkish Language, the term of “hamd” means all the praise completely and perfectly to Allâh, the creator of all the creations. The “hamd” can be conceptualized as a “praise of kindness based on will in a glorifying, grateful and good manner, whether it is blessing or not”. The “hamd” belongs to Allâh and it is used in the Qur’ân 68 times with the different derivatives to express praise only to Allâh. The concept and usage of “hamd” represents that all the praise and worship belongs to Allâh.In this study, the term of “hamd” was initially investigated through semantic analysis. Next, its relationship with similar expressions and concepts were analyzed. Finally, the concept of “hamd” is evaluated in terms of the integrity of the Holy Qur’ân.
