İnsanlık tarihi kadar köklü bir maziye sahip olan mûsikî, en ilkelinden en medenî toplumlara kadar insanoğlunun duygu ve düşüncelerini aktarmaya vesile olan bir ilim ve sanat dalıdır. Bu çalışmaya, mûsikînin kaynağının ne olduğunu tespit etmekle başladık. Hayatın her alanında kendisine yer bulan mûsikînin önemini ifade ettikten sonra İslam inancı içinde sürekli tartışıla gelen ve bu alanda oldukça önemli bir birikimin oluşmasına vesile olan mûsikînin, İslam dinindeki yerini ayet ve hadisler ışığında özet olarak aktarmaya çalıştık. İslam anlayışı içinde mûsikînin helal ya da haram oluşu tartışmaları devam ederken bir yandan da mûsikînin helal olduğunu ileri sürenler tarafından literatüre Türk Din Mûsikîsi kavramı kazandırılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünü, Türk Din Mûsikîsi kavramını ve Kur'an kırâatinde mûsikînin yerinin ne olduğunu izah etmekle tamamladık. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, Hâfız Hüseyin Sezgin Efendi'nin hayatı yer almaktadır. Torunu Kudsi Sezgin tarafından kaleme alınan dedesinin hayat hikâyesinin, yine Kudsi Sezgin ve bugün hayatta olan az sayıdaki öğrencileri ile yaptığımız mülakatların katkısıyla Hüseyin Efendi'nin hayatı, kişiliği ve Kur'an eğitiminde takip ettiği metodu ile ilgili bilgilere, yer vererek bu bölümü tamamladık. Çalışmanın ekler kısmında, Hüseyin Efendi'nin torunu ve öğrencileri ile yapılan mülakatlar, görev yaptığı yıllara ait Isparta İl Müftülüğü'nün arşivinde bulunan bazı belgeler ve torunu Kudsi Bey'in gönderdiği fotoğraflar yer almaktadır. Gerek lisans ve gerekse yüksek lisans öğrenimimizi Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesinde görmüş olduğumuzdan ve Hüseyin Efendi'nin çalışmalarını Isparta'da yapmış olmasından dolayı konunun araştırılması gerektiğine inanarak böyle bir çalışma yaptık. "Mûsikî" which has a deep-rooted history as old as humans' history is a science and art that paves the way that it transfers the emotions and the feeling of human beings from the most primitive to the modern. We started this work by defining the origins of the mûsikî. After mentioning the importance of the mûsikî which is very important in every spheres of life, we tried to lay an emphasis on musiki which conduce to accumulation of knowledge in this field and the musiki's role in the religion of Islam that also contributes to the formation of the much disputed richness via Quranic verses and hadith. Whereas the disputes in under standing of Islam on whether mûsikî is halal or forbidden going on, those who defend the idea that mûsikî is halal put forward the concept of the Mûsikî of Turkish Religion. We completed the first part by explaining the term of the Mûsikî of Turkish Religionand the place of the mûsikî in the readings of Quran. In Chapter 2, the life story of Hâfız Hüseyin Efendi is mentioned. His Grand father's life story which was written by his grandson Kudsi Sezgin and By means of the interviews with his students who are very few and Kudsi Sezgin we finished the first part of the study by giving information about the life story of Hüseyin Efendi, his personality, and his methodology in the teaching of Quran. In the parts of Appendix, there are the interviews with his students and his grandson and some documents that are in the archives of Office of Müfti in Isparta that belong to Hüseyin Efendi's era and the photographs sent by Kudsi Bey. As weare the students of Divinity Faculty of Süleyman Demirel University in both undergraduate and graduate and as Hüseyin Efendi worked in Isparta, we have a strong belief that the topic is to be researched.
