Bu tezin temel amacı; Türkiye'de metal sektöründe iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kurullarının işleyişinin analizini yapmaktır. Endüstrileşmenin hızla geliştiği çağımızda, çalışanların çalışma ortamlarının sağlıklı ve güvenli hale getirilmesi, iş koşullarının ve iş çevrelerinin, insanca bir yaklaşım ile iyileştirilmesi, sadece endüstrileşme yolundaki ülkelerin değil endüstrileşme açısından önemli atılımları gerçekleştirmiş olan ülkelerde de önemli bir sorun olma özelliğini korumaktadır. İşletmelerde meydana gelen iş kazaları ve meslek hastalıkları, olası can kayıpları ya da sakatlanmalar dışında, işletmede verimliliğin düşmesi ve maliyetlerin artması, tazminat ödemeleri, yüksek tedavi ve bakım giderleri ile birlikte gerek işletmelere, gerekse ulusal ekonomilere önemli zararlar vermektedir. Bu sebeplerden dolayı iş kazalarına ve meslek hastalıklarına karşı önlem alınması gerekmektedir. Çalışmamız bu sebeplerden dolayı ağır sanayi olan Metal endüstrisinde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kurullarının incelenmesi üzerine yapılmıştır. Bu tezde yöntem olarak anket uygulaması kullanılmıştır. Yöntem olarak kullandığımız anket uygulaması sonucunda, İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Kurullarının İşleyişi Algısı Ölçeği'ne ilişkin alfa değeri % 96,9 olarak hesaplanmış ve söz konusu değere bakılarak ölçeğin yüksek düzey güvenilir olduğu kararına varılmıştır.İş sağlığı ve güvenliği kurullarının işleyişine ilişkin algılar yaşa göre farklılık göstermemektedir.Üniversite mezunlarının görüşleri, ilköğretim mezunlarına göre daha olumludur.İşletmede farklı çalışma süresine sahip katılımcılar ile kadın ve erkek katılımcılar arasında kurulların işleyişine ilişkin algılar bakımından bir fark olmadığı belirlenmiştir.İşletmede çalışan kişi sayısı arttıkça, yaşanan kaza sayısı da artmaktadır.Meslek hastalığı sayısı ile kaza sayısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı belirlenmiştir. The main objective of this thesis is to make an analyze the functioning of the occupational health and safety boards in the metal sector in Turkey. Industrialisation is rapidly developing in a healthy and safe work environment for employees, business conditions and business circles, with a humane approach to improving not only in terms of the countries in the path of industrialization, industrialization has performed an important problem in the major initiations. Accidents and occupational diseases occuring in enterprises, the possible losses or increased costs in the enterprise productivity and except fort he executed, compensation payments, high treatment and maintenance costs to businesses as well as national economies with significant losses. For these reasons the job accidents and ocuupational diseases to take precautions against. These reasons work in heavy industry, which Metal is made upon the examination of the occupational health and safety boards in the industry. In this thesis the application of the survey method was used. As a result of the method that we use as survey application, the alpha value of scale on perception of occupational health and safety boards and operation calculated as %96.9. By looking at these values the high level of the scale was concluded to be reliable. -Occupational health and safety boards relating to the functioning of the senses does not vary by age. - The opinions of college graduates, according to primary school graduates are more positive. - In business, among the participants with different working hours and women and men there was no difference in perceptions regarding the functioning of the boards is determined.- As the number of the people working in the business increasing, the number of accidents is also increasing.- There isn’t any significant relationship between the number of occupational diseases and accident was determined.
