1980-2000 Arası Türk Romanında Baba Figürünün Toplumsal Analizi tezinde Türkiye'nin toplumsal ve kültürel yapısında baba olgusunun Türk romanına yansıması incelendi.Edebiyat ve sosyolojide baba konusuyla ilgili çalışmalara pek rastlanmamaktadır. Baba hakkında yapılan araştırmalar anneye göre daha azdır. Daha çok anne üzerinde durulmaktadır. Babanın ihmalinin çok yönlü sebepleri vardır. Sebeplerin açıklaması için disiplinler arasılıktan yararlanmak gerekir. Öncelikle ana hatlarıyla edebiyat ve roman sosyolojisi, ardından 1980-2000 arası Türk romanı tanıtıldı. Türk ailesinin konuyla ilgili temel sosyolojik özellikleri ortaya koyuldu. Teorik genel birikimle inceleme bulgularının rahatlıkla kolayca anlaşılması sağlanmaya çalışıldı.1980-2000 arası dünyadaki ve Türkiye'deki sosyopolitik gelişmelerin oluşturduğu gündem belirlendi. Belirlenen romanlar belirlenen çerçevede okundu. Daha sonra romanlarda baba temasına yer verildi. Seçilen yirmi dokuz romandan hareketle 1980-2000 dönemine odaklanılarak baba konusu işlendi. Seçilen romanlar ile yayımlandıkları yılların sosyopolitik gelişmelerinin oluşturduğu gündem arasındaki örtüşmeler belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Metinlerin farklı romanlardan alınması yoluyla çeşitlendirilmesiyle toplumsal temsiliyet gücünün arttırılması sağlandı.Araştırma tasvir edici ve yorumlayıcı bir niteliğe sahiptir.Türk toplumunun sosyal-kültürel yapısında baba olgusunun Türk romanına nasıl yansıdığının seçilmiş Türk romanları çerçevesinde baba olgusu açısından araştırılması edebiyat sosyolojisine katkı sağlayabilir. Reflection of Father figure in the social and cultural structure of Turkey into the Turkish Novel was analyzed in the thesis of Social Analysis of Father Figure in Turkish Novel between 1980-2000 years.Studies relating to father subject are not frequently seen in literature and sociology. Researches that are conducted relating to father are less compared to mother. Mother is more likely emphasized. There are multiple aspect reasons for neglecting father. It is required to benefit from intersubjectivity of disciplines in order to explain the reasons.Primarily literature and novel sociology and then Turkish Novel were introduced between 198-2000 years with guidelines. Relevant basic sociological characteristics of Turkish family were provided. Understanding of study findings was attempted to be provided with theoretical general knowledge.Agenda that is composed of socio-political developments in the world and Turkey is determined between 1980-2000 years. Certain novels were read within determined framework. Father contact was allowed subsequently in novels. Father subject was processed by focusing to period of 1980-2000 years acting from the elected twenty nine novels. Overlaps between the agenda that is composed by the socio-political developments were studied to be determined for the years, during which the selected novels were published. Power of social representation was tried to be increased in a way of diversifying by obtaining the texts from different novels. Research has descriptive and interpretive nature.Researching how the father phenomenon in socio-cultural structure of Turkish society into Turkish Novel is reflected within the framework of selected Turkish Novels may contribute to literature sociology.
