Kalkınma ve beşeri sermaye çok yakın ilişkili iki kavramdır. Kalkınma sadece ulaşılması gereken bir hedef değil aynı zamanda sürekli kovalanması ve geliştirilmesi gereken bir olgudur. Bu yönüyle kalkınma tüm dünya ülkeleri için önemli olmakla birlikte Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan ülkeler için ayrıca büyük bir öneme haizdir.Kalkınmanın kaynağı olan üretim faktörlerinin önemi zaman içinde değişiklik göstermiş olup bu değişiklik beşeri sermayeyi her geçen gün daha fazla öne çıkarmıştır.Günümüzde kalkınmanın kilit rolünü beşeri sermaye üstlenmiştir. Beşeri sermaye başlıca eğitim ve sağlık unsurlarından meydana gelmiş olup insanın sahip olduğu bilgi, beceri, tecrübe ve niteliklerin toplamıdır. Beşeri sermaye makro düzeyde önemli bir kavram olduğu gibi mikro düzeyde de önemli bir kavramdır. Bu çalışmada kalkınmada beşeri sermayenin rolü mikro düzeyde Burdur ili imalat sanayi üzerinde incelenecektir.Bu inceleme 39 şirkette 395 kadın ve erkek çalışan üzerinde anket uygulanarak yapılmıştır. Development and Human Capital are both closely related notions. Development is not only a goal which should be achieved but also it is a fact which must be always pursued and improved.In this respect development is important for all countries in the World at the same time it is also has a great importance for developing countries such as Turkey. The importance of production factors has varied over time so these changes in human capital have been put forward more and more every day. Today human capital has assumed a key role in the development. Human capital is formed of two main elements which are education and health. So human capital can be explained with information and skills owned by the people and the sum of the experience and qualifications. Human capital is an important concept at the micro level as well as at the macro level. In this study, the role of human capital in the development will be examined at the micro level on the province of Burdur manufacturing sector. This study was conducted in 39 companies by applying the survey on 395 male and female workers. The study results were reviewed by cross tables and one-way ANOVA analysis.
