Yoksulluk kavramı, ekonomik olarak bir gelir azlığının yanında siyasal, kültürel ve toplumsal belirleyicileri olan bir sürece karşılık gelmektedir. Son yıllarda, toplumda yardıma muhtaç kesimde artış olduğu, toplumun önemli bir kesiminin sosyal yardımlara gün geçtikçe daha çok ihtiyaç duyar hale gelmektedir. Türkiye'deki yoksulluk sorunun üzerine kurgulanan bu çalışma Alanya ilçesi örneğinde Sosyal Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Vakıflarının yoksullukla mücadeledeki etkinliğini ve sosyal yardım uygulayıcıları arasındaki etkinliğini sorgulamaya yöneliktir. Bu çalışma yoksulluk sorununa ekonomik boyutunun yanında sosyal ve kültürel boyutları ile kamusal sosyal yardım alanların yardım algısını ölçmeye yöneliktir. Çalışma alanı, Alanya'nın birçok mahallesinde geniş çaplı bir alan araştırmasıdır. Alan araştırması Kasım 2014- Mayıs 2015 tarihleri arasında tamamlanmıştır. Çalışma'da; anket ve derinlemesine mülakat teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca yoksul haneler yerinde görülerek araştırmanın bulguları derinlemesine analiz edilmiştir. Besides the scarcity of income economically, the notion of poverty corresponds to a process which has political, cultural and social determinatives. In recent years, the number of the helpless people in society has increased and day by day, a very important part of the society has become dependant on the social benefits. Based on the poverty issue in Turkey, this study aimed at an examination both in the social assistance and solidarity foundations' effectiveness on struggling against poverty and between the social aids implementors. Along the economical extent, this study aimed at the evaluation of the perception of the public fields of social benefits in the social and cultural contexts. The field of this study has been carried out on the large-scaled regions in Alanya. The researches were completed the dates between November,2014-May,2015. It was applied questionnaire and in-depth interviewing techniques. Moreover, the findings of the survey were analyzed in the needy regions by seeing on sites.
