Bu tezin amacı, İbn-i Hişâm'ın Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb adlı eserinde ele aldığı konulara şâhid olarak getirdiği beyitlerin tahlillerini yapmak, diğer klasik nahiv kaynaklarında tespit etmektir. Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb, nahiv alanında önemli bir eser olarak kabul edilmektedir. Birinci bölümde İbn-i Hişâm'ın hayatı, ilmî kişiliği, eserleri ve Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb'in genel bir tanıtımı yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ishişhâd kavramı ve istişhâd kaynakları ele alınmıştır. İstişhâd yönünden Kur'ân-ı Kerim, hadis ve şiirin Nahiv ilmindeki yeri incelenmiştir. Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb'de istişhâd edilen beyitler, konu başlıkları altında ele alınarak istişhâd yönü ortaya konulmuştur. Ele alınan meselenin daha iyi anlaşılması için, konular detaylandırılarak açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca, beyitler klasik nahiv kaynaklarından taranarak tespit edilmiştir. Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb'de 16 konu başlığı altında, tekrarlar hariç, toplam 627 âyet, 32 hadis ve 239 beyit şâhid olarak kullanılmıştır. The aim of this thesis is to assay the couplets of İbn-i Hişâm that he indicates as a witness upon the topics and to identify in other classical grammar sources. Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb is admitted as an important work in grammar area. İn first part, a general presentation of İbn-i Hişâm's life, his scientific personality, his Works and Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb is done. İn second part, the concept of quotation and the sources of quotation are dealed. The place of Qur'an, tradition and poetry are analyzed in terms of quotation. The couplets that are quoted in Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb are produced in their quotation view by dealing under headings. The topics that are dealed, are explained in detail to be understood. Further more, the couplets are identified by skinning the classical grammar sources. İn Şerh-u Şûzûri'z-Zeheb in total, 627 verses, 32 tradition, and 239 couplets are quoted under 16 headings.
