Kur'ân-ı Kerim'de geçen kıssalar özellikle Peygamber kıssalarının, İslam kültürü ve edebiyatında geniş ve önemli bir yer tuttuğu bilinmektedir. Türk-İslam kültürü geleneğinde ve edebiyatında da hatırı sayılır bir öneme sahiptir. Bu kıssaların etkisini Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatı nesir ve şiirinde de genel hatları ile görmemiz mümkündür. Bu etki, özellikle İslamî duyarlılığı fazla olan İkinci Yeni edebiyat hareketi edebiyatçılarından Sezai Karakoç gibi bazı edebiyatçıların eserlerine daha fazla yansırken diğer edebiyatçılarımızın eserlerine ise daha az yansımıştır. Kur'ân kıssaları, Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatı nesrine, bazen kıssanın tümünün yeniden hikâye türünde müstakil olarak kurgulanmasıyla bazen de kıssanın bazı bölümlerinin hikâyeye serpiştirilmesiyle yansır. Dönem şiirine ise genellikle telmih (işaret etme, hatırlatma) sanatı, imge, izlenim kazandırma bazen de kıssadan can alıcı bir bölümle çağrışım uyandırılarak yansıtılmıştır. Kur'ân kıssaları, Cumhuriyet Dönemi Çocuk Edebiyatı nesrine ve şiirine öğretici bir hedef duyarlılığı çerçevesinde çocukların muhayyile ve muhakeme gücüne uygun bir üslupla yansıtılmıştır. Though having an important place in the Islamic Culture and Islamic Literature, the parables in the Quran, especially the Prophet Parables, have a highly important place in Turkish-Islamic culture tradition and literature. It is possible to see the effect of these parables in the prose and poems of the Republic Period Turkish Literature, in their main aspects. Although the effect reflects on the literary works of some artists such as Sezai Karakoç, who has the sensitivity in Islam and who is one of the Second New Literature Movement artists, has reflected on the literary work of other artists less. While the Parables of the Quran are seen as reflected in Republic Period Turkish prose Literature, sometimes in the formation of the parable to a new story type and sometimes some parts of the parable be scattered in a story, it is seen as the reminder art (reference art), image and to gain impression and sometimes it can also be seen with a most sensitive spot from the parable to evoke something, in the poetry. The tales of the Qur'an reflect to Republic Period Child Literature prose and poetry with didactic (teaching) sensibility that is suitable for Children's imagination and comparison power.
