Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin hizmet sektörü dış ticaretinin 2003-2016 yılları arasındaki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Söz konusu gelişimi daha geniş bir perspektiften görebilmek adına 1975-2016 yıllarını kapsayan veri setiyle ekonometrik model kurgulanmıştır. Veri setini oluşturan değişkenlerden hizmet ticareti bağımlı, GSYH, döviz kuru ve enflasyon ise bağımsız değişkenler olarak belirlenmiştir. Ampirik analiz kapsamında durağanlık analizleri yapıldıktan sonra VAR modeli kurulmuş, istikrar ve model iyiliği testleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylece gecikme sayısı belirlenmiş ve eş-bütünleşmenin varlığını test etmek için Johansen yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Eş-bütünleşme testi sonucuna göre uzun dönemde enflasyon değişkeninin hizmet ticaretini etkilediğini, enflasyondaki %1'lik artışın hizmet ticaretinde %2.98 oranında değişime neden olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Kısa dönem analiz sonucuna göre döviz kuru ve GSYH'deki kısa dönemli değişimlerin hizmet ticaretini negatif yönde etkilediği, kısa dönemde enflasyon ve hizmet ticareti arasında ise bir ilişki olmadığı anlaşılmıştır. Uygulanan Granger nedensellik sonucuna göre enflasyon hariç bağımsız değişkenlerden hizmet ticaretine bir nedensellik ilişkisi olduğu, hizmet ticaretinden bağımsız değişkenlere doğru bir nedensellik ilişkisi olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Genel bir sonuç olarak hizmet ticareti, GSYH, döviz kuru ve enflasyon arasında uzun dönemli bir ilişki olduğu, dengedeki 1 birimlik sapmanın her dönemde %12'sinin düzeltildiği ve bu sapmanın 8.3 dönem sonra dengeye geleceği ortaya çıkmıştır. Başka bir ifadeyle hizmet ticareti kapsamında ilgili değişkenlerle kurulan modelin uzun dönemli bir denge ilişkisine sahip olduğu ve dengeye yakınsadığı tespit edilmiştir. This study, examines the development of foreign trade in services in Turkey for the period 2003-2016. In order to be able to see this development from a wider perspective, the econometric model is being constructed with the dataset covering the years 1975-2016. In the analysis, service trade is determined as dependent variable, while GDP, exchange rate and inflation are determined as independent variables. Within the scope of empirical analysis, statistical analysis is applied and then VAR model is established and stability and model goodness tests is performed. Thereby the number of delays is determined and the Johansen method is used to test the co-integration's existence. The results of co-integration analysis suggest that in the long run the inflation affects the service trade and the 1% increase in inflation has resulted in proportion 2.98% change in the service trade. The results of short-term analysis show that short-term changes in exchange rates and GDP affect service trade negatively and it is understood that there is no relation between inflation and service trade in the short term. Granger causality tests have indicated that there is a causality relation to service trade from independent variables except for inflation, there is no causality relation from service trade to independent variables. As a general conclusion, it has been revealed that there is a long-run relationship between service trade, GDP, exchange rate and inflation that 12 per cent of the variance of the 1 unit balance is corrected each period and this pair will come to balance after 8.3 periods. In other words, it has been determined that the model established by the related variables within the scope of the service trade has a long-run equilibrium relation and convorges to the equilibrium.
