Modern romanın ortaya çıkışıyla beraber, tarihe yönelen romanlar tarihî roman olarak adlandırılmıştır. Türk edebiyatında ilk olarak millî bilinci uyandırmak ve halka tarih ilmini sevdirmek için tarihi bilgiler ile kurgulanan bu roman türü, zaman içerisinde bu işlevlerinin yanı sıra kurguda serbestlik de kazanmıştır. Tarih bilgisinin romancı tarafından kurgulanabilir oluşuyla da başarı öyküleri anlatılan büyük şahsiyetlerin yerini toplulukların hikâyeleri almaya başlamıştır. Tarih ve tarihî roman ile ilgili kavramların incelendiği bu çalışmada, Reha Çamuroğlu'nun farklı dönemleri anlatan üç romanı tahlil edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın giriş kısmı tarih ve tarihî roman ile ilgili incelemeleri içerirken birinci bölümde İsmail, ikinci bölümde Son Yeniçeri ve üçüncü bölümde ise Bir Anlık Gecikme romanları tahlil edilmiştir. Adı geçen romanlarda meydana gelen olaylar, tarihî bilgiler ışığında değerlendirilmiş olup yazarın kurgu ve gerçeklik arasında harmanladığı tarihsel ilişki tespit edilerek ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Following the emergence of the modern novel, the novels turning towards the history are called historical novels. This novel kind, firstly fictioned in order to raise the national consciousness in the Turkish Literature and to help the Turkish people enjoy the Science of History, in addition to these features, in time also gained independence in the fiction. As the knowledge of history being able to be fictioned by the novelist, the significant individuals whose success stories are being told, are replaced by the stories of the communities. In this paper where the concepts regarding history and historical novels are studied, the three novels of Reha Camuroglu shedding light to different periods of time are analyzed. In this context, the introduction of this study contains an analysis of history and historical novel, meanwhile in the first part Ismail, in the second part Son Yeniceri, and in the third part Bir Anlik Gecikme novels are analyzed. The events in the mentioned novels are evaluated under the light of historical pieces of information, and the historical tie which the novelist has blended in fiction and reality is detected and revealed. This study, apart from the introduction, body, conclusion, source, and attachments, consists of three parts.
