Bütün sanat dalları başkalaşım temeli üzerinde gelişerek ilerlemekte, bu sayede farklılık göstererek, özgünleşmektedirler. Günümüzde ise teknolojinin hızla gelişerek yaşam ve tasarım kültürlerini benzeştiği küresel bir çağda yaşamaktayız. Bu küresel çağ web sayfa kompozisyonlarını da etkileyerek benzer bir çok web sayfasının ortaya çıkmasına ve web sayfa kompozisyonlarının kısırlaşmasına sebep olmaktadır. Birçok web sayfası incelendiğinde kompozisyondaki kurgulama yanlışları, sayfanın "güzellik" dürtüsüyle yapılıp amacının dışına saptığı veya görsel unsurların hatalı bir biçimde ele alınarak uyumsuz bir bütün oluşturduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada web sayfa tasarımında kompozisyonun (düzenin) tanımı yapılarak görsel sanatlardaki önemine ve farklılıklarına değinilmiş kompozisyonu oluşturan öğeler ve bu öğeler arasındaki ilişkiler ele alınmış. Bu öğelerin özellikleri irdelenmiş, tasarım ilkeleri ve görsel algı prensiplerine değinilerek bazı web sayfa kompozisyonları incelenerek, yukardaki bahsettiğimiz sorunlar ele alınmıştır. Çeşitli kaynakların taranması ve incelemeler sonrası elde edilen bilgi ve bul-gular ışığında örnek uygulama projesi yapılarak elde edilen sonuçların görselleşmesi sağlanmıştır. All branches of art advance based on the foundations of metamorphosis and become authentic by demonstrating a difference in this way. Today, we are living in a global era in which technology is advancing very fast and life and design cultures start to resemble each other. This global era also affects web page compositions and results in creation of many similar web pages and a vicious cycle in web page compositions. Looking at many different webpages, the errors in compositional construction are quite evident where the page is only designed with a motive of only "beauty" or visual elements are addressed wrongly creating a discordant integrity. In this study, the definition of composition (order) in web page design is made and the importance and differences in visual arts were discussed and finally the elements that constitute the composition as well as the relations between such ele-ments were discussed. The study also addressed characteristics of these elements, touched upon design principles and visual perception principles and tried to embrace abovementioned problems by examining the compositions in certain web pages. A sample project was created in the light of data and findings that were at-tained as a result of review and study of various literature to ensure an effective visu-alization of the results.
