Ses kayıt ve müzik teknolojileri kapsamında ortaya çıkan fonograf, gramafon vb. cihazların zamanla müzik üretim alanlarında kullanılması ve besteci/icracıların bu doğrultuda yeni ses ve tını olanakları elde etmesi ile deneysel/elektronik müzik alanında geleneksel besteleme yöntemleri haricinde yeni yöntemlerin kullanılmaya başlanmasına yol açmıştır. Ses kayıt teknolojileri doğrultusunda manyetik teyp kayıt, yeniden çalma ve dijital kayıt yöntemlerinin ve müzik teknolojileri bağlamında analog ve dijital sentezleme, yazılım ve bilgisayar teknolojilerinin deneysel/elektronik müzik laboratuvarları kapsamında müzik yapım aşamalarında kullanılmaktadır. Dünyada genelinde bu laboratuvarlar, başta kişisel kullanım amacı ile ve daha sonra ise kapsamlı donanım, yazılım ve yapı özellikleri bakımından giderek daha nitelikli bir kurumsal bir yapıya dönüşmüştür. Türkiye'deki çalışmalar hakkında ise sınırlı sayıdaki üniversitelerdeki deneysel/elektronik müzik eğitim ve çalışmaları ve bu müzik türü bağlamında kullanılan daha sınırlı donanım ve yazılım unsurlarına sahip ses kayıt ve müzik yapım stüdyoları kapsamında yürütüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Öte yandan genel olarak dünyadaki çok sayıdaki örneğe karşın Türkiye'de müzik yapım firmaları ve yayıncı kuruluşların bu bağlamda yetersiz oldukları açıktır. Türkiye'de eğitim kurumları kapsamındaki deneysel/elektronik müzik laboratuvarlarının bu doğrultuda donanım, yazılım ve yapı özellikleri bakımından performans, bestecilik ve eğitim amaçlı olarak yeniden düzenlenmesinin bu alana önemli katkı sağlayacağı açıktır. By the usage of the devices as phonograph, gramophone etc. which had been emerged in the context of sound recording and music technology in the areas of music production, in this direction by acquisition of new sounds and timbre facilities by the composers and performers, had caused new methods in the area of experimental/electronic music which had been apart from traditional methods of composing. Magnetic tape recording, playback and digital recording technics in the direction of sound recording technologies and analogue and digital synthesis, software and computer technologies have been used in the experimental/electronic music laboratories in the music production stages in the context of music technologies. In the world wide, these laboratories were constructed firstly for individual usage purposes and later these were transformed to more qualified institutional structures in the context of comprehensive hardware, software and structural specialities. About the studies in Turkey these were identified that experimental/electronic music education and studies have been held in limited number of universities and sound recording and music production studios that have been used in the context of this music genre with more limited hardware and software capacities. On the other hand despite many samples from generally the world, in Turkey, music production companies and broadcasting corparations are insufficient in this context. The experimental/electronic music laboratories in Turkey and regulation in this direction in the context of hardware, software specialities for performance, composition and education purposes will make a great additive to this area.
