İnsanlık tarihinde önemli dönüm noktalarından biri olan Sanayi Devrimi yaşama dair önemli değişimlere neden olmuştur. Kitlesel üretimi beraberinde getiren Sanayi Devrimi'nin bir getirisi olan ihtiyaç fazlası üretim sorunu popüler kültürün desteklediği kitlesel tüketimle aşılabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda popüler kültüre kaynaklık eden alanlardan biri olan moda kapsamında giyim modası öne çıkmaktadır. Giyim modasında yer alan blucin her dönem popüler kalabilmiş bir meta olma özelliği ile bir popüler kültür klasiğine dönüşmüştür. Değişen piyasa şartlarında markalaşmanın önemi artmış ve yerli bir blucin markası olan Mavi Jeans markalaşmanın gereklerini en doğru biçimde yerine getiren bir marka olarak önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde kültür ve popüler kültür konuları irdelenmiş, popüler kültüre zemin hazırlayan ve popüler kültürü besleyen faktörler üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde popüler kültürü besleyen faktörlerden biri olan genel anlamda modanın özelde ise giyim modasında öne çıkan ve popüler kültür kültü halini almış blucin imgesinin popüler kültür ile etkileşimi, öncesi ve sonrası olarak ele alınmış, Türkiye'de ve dünyada blucinin gelişimi incelenmiştir. Türkiye'den çıkan başarılı bir blucin markası olan Mavi Jeans'in ise üçüncü bölümde, dünyada ve Türkiye'de markalaşma süreçleri incelenirken Mavi Jeans'in imgelemi de yine üçüncü bölümde araştırılmıştır. The Industrial Revolution marked a major turning point in human history as nearly every aspect of daily life was eventually influenced by it in some way. The Industrial Revolution brought about mass production with a return of surplus production problems, which can be solved by popular culture's mass consumption of products that it supports. In this context, clothing fashion stands out within the scope of fashion, which is one of the primary sources of popular culture. Blue jeans, in particular, have remained popular as a commodity feature that has became a classic. The importance of branding has increased as market conditions continued to change, and Mavi Jeans, which are native Turkish-produced blue jeans, properly fulfill the requirements of branding as a brand that is becoming well known and highly successful.In the first section of this study, various elements of culture and popular culture were examined, with an emphasis on the factors that provide a basis for popular culture and the factors that maintain it. The interaction of popular culture and the image of blue jeans, which became entrenched in the cult of popular culture quite prominent in the field of clothing fashion, was considered before and after. The second section of the study focused on the development of blue jeans both in Turkey and around the world. The third part of the study investigated the branding process of Mavi Jeans, a successful Turkish brand of jeans that has found popularity throughout the world. The imaging and portrayal of Mavi Jeans is also mentioned in this third section. Being original and being in the right place at the right time to market a product are viewed as the right combination of skill and luck considered to be effective in the success of a branding process.
