Risk kavramı; başta ekonomik ve sosyal alanlarda olmak üzere gerek iş hayatının, gerekse günlük hayatımızın ayrılmaz bir parçası olmuştur. Riskin varlığı ve yüksek derecelerde seyretmesi, riskin yönetilmesi ve bu riskten kaçınılması ihtiyacını doğurmaktadır. İlk olarak sigortacılık sektöründe kullanılmaya başlanan risk yönetim kavramı, kurumların hedeflerine ulaşmasını engelleyici risklerin ve hedeflere ulaşımı kolaylaştırıcı fırsatların önceden fark edilerek yönetilmesini sağlayan dinamik ve disiplinli bir sistemdir. Risk yönetiminin temel amacı, kârı artırıcı uygulamaları desteklemek ve fayda unsurunu geliştirmeye yardımcı olmaktır. Genelde amaç aynı, fakat sistemin kapsamı ülkeden ülkeye değişmektedir. Gelişmekte olan ülkeler, piyasalarının yeterince etkili olamaması nedeniyle riskin yönetilmesi ve riskten kaçınılması ihtiyaçlarına cevap vermekte yetersiz kalmaktadırlar. Antalya-Burdur-Bucak Organize Sanayi Bölgelerinde yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmada işletmelerde risk kavramı; risk analizi, risk yönetim süreci ve riskten korunma yöntemleri olarak üç başlıkta incelenmiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır |
