Bu araştırmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul (BIST)’ da faaliyet gösteren imalat işletmelerinin mülkiyet yapısının firma performansları üzerindeki etkisini ölçmektir. Çalışmada, BIST’ da 2009-2012 yılları arasında imalat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 135 firma incelenmiştir. Mülkiyet yapısının firma performansına etkisi, finansal oranlar kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Firmaların mülkiyet yapısı değişkenleri olarak en yüksek paya sahip ortak, en yüksek ikinci paya sahip ortak ve halka açıklık oranı belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, firmaların mülkiyet yapılarının finansal performans oranlarından olan aktif devir hızı, cari oran, öz sermaye devir hızı ve Tobin q oranı üzerinde pozitif yönde anlamlı bir etkisi varken, fiyat-kazanç oranına ise negatif yönde anlamlı bir etkisi çıkmıştır |

The aim of this study is to measure the effect of ownership structure on the performance of the firms at BIST. In the study, 135 firms working at production sector have been examined between the years 2009 – 2012 at BIST. The effect of ownership structure on the performance of the firm have been measured by using financial ratios. The partner who has the highest amount of share and the second highest amount of share and the free float ratio have been determined as an ownership structure variables of firms. At the end of the study, while the ownership structure of the firms have an implicit positive effect on asset turnover, current ratio, equity turnover, and Tobin q ratio, a negative effect has occurred on the ratio of price – profit |
