This study deals with a political career in the concept of interaction between national and local politics including the controversial era from the second half of 1990s till the first decade of 2000s. The political career of Erkan Mumcu, deputy of Isparta Province, pursues a wavy conjuncture in this era. This conjuncture echoes not only on the national but also on local level of the politics. Moreover, these have sometimes similar and sometimes become different effects on the national and local axes. Analyzed through these axes, the political career of Mumcu reveals a useful approach for the understanding of national and local dynamics of the politics |

Ulusal ve yerel siyasetin etkileşiminin bir siyasetçinin siyasal kariyeri üzerinden ele alındığı bu çalışma, oldukça tartışmalı bir dönem olan 1990‟lı yılların ikinci yarısı ve 2000‟li yılların ilk on yılını kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada ele alınan Isparta Milletvekili Erkan Mumcu‟nun siyasal yaşamı, söz konusu dönem itibariyle oldukça tartışmalı bir seyir izlemiştir. Bu seyir gerek ulusal gerekse de yerel siyaset düzlemlerinde yankılar oluşturmuştur. Bu yankılar, ulusal ve yerel düzlemlerde bazen benzeşirken bazen de farklılaşmaktadır. Mumcu‟nun siyasal kariyerini bu düzlemlerde ele almak ulusal ve yerel siyasetin dinamiklerini anlamak bakımından faydalı bir yaklaşım ortaya çıkarmaktadır |
