The aim of this study is to determine the effect of safety climateperceptions of employees facing various types of risks in their workplaces onjob performance and job satisfaction. For this purpose; data which is gatheredthrough survey method that covers public workers employed (n=451) in differentpublic institutions and organizations in Malatya province is analysed.According to results of the analysis (exploratory and confirmatory factoranalyses, correlation and regression analyses, Sobel test), it is figured thata positive safety climate perception of public workers affects employees’ jobperformance and job satisfaction positively and significantly. Moreover, jobsatisfaction does not have a mediating role in the relationship between safetyclimate and job performance in this process. The results are discussedcomparing the studies in the literature. |

Yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı işortamlarında çeşitli risklerle karşı karşıya bulunan işgörenlerin güvenlikiklimi algılarının iş tatminleri ve iş performansları üzerine olan etkisinibelirlemektir. Bu maksatla Malatya ilinde istihdam edilen kamu çalışanlarından(n=451) anket yöntemiyle toplanan veriler analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler(faktör analizi, korelasyon ve regresyon analizi, sobel testi) neticesinde kamuçalışanlarının olumlu yöndeki güvenlik iklimi algılarının iş performanslarınıve iş doyum seviyelerini pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı olarak etkilediği tespitedilmiştir. Ayrıca bu süreçte, güvenlik iklimi ile iş performansı arasındakiilişkide iş doyumunun aracılık rolü oynamadığı belirlenmiştir. |
