In terms of hospitals to be preferred again by the patients is quitecrucial. The re-preference of the same hospital is related to the quality ofthe service offered as well as its various features such as thesocio-demographic characteristics of the patient. In this study, the satisfactionfactors such as “physician”, “physical facility”, “catering” and “other employees”factors which are thought to be effective on the re-preference of the hospitalare aimed to be explained by the probit regression analysis according toresidential status. The sample of the study consists of 397 inpatients inKırıkkale University Medical Faculty Hospital. Patients are determined bystratified random sampling method. In the general model estimated by the probitregression analysis, the satisfaction attained related to the"doctor" factor is found to be statistically significant while thesatisfaction due to the factors of "catering", "other employees"and " physical facility" is found to be statistically insignificant. However, when the univariatemodel is established with these factors, it is found that all the factorsexcept catering in the probit models are significant. As a result of thisstudy, it is determined that inpatients tend to re-prefer the hospital as thesatisfaction of the "doctor" factor increases. Also according to theresidential status, it is determined that the patients residing in the citycenter would re-prefer the hospital with a higher probability compared to thepatients residing elsewhere. |

Hastane açısından hastaları tarafındantekrar tercih edilmek oldukça önemlidir. Aynı hastanenin tekrar tercihedilmesi, hastanın sosyo-demografik özellikleri gibi pek çok özelliğinin yanısıra sunulan hizmetin kalitesi ile ilişkilidir. Bu çalışma ile hastanenintekrar tercih edilmesinde hizmetin kalitesinin göstergesi olarak düşünülen“doktor”, “fiziki olanak”, “yemek” ve “diğer personelden” duyulan memnuniyetdüzeylerinin ikametgah durumuna göre probit regresyon analizi ile açıklanmasıhedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemine Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Tıp FakültesiHastanesi servislerinde yatan 397 hasta dahil edilmiştir. Hastalar tabakalırasgele örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Yapılan probit regresyon analizindeoluşturulan genel modelde; hastaların hastaneyi tekrar tercih etmesinde“doktor” faktöründen duyulan memnuniyet istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunurken“yemek”, “diğer personel” ve “fiziki olanak” faktörlerinden duyulan memnuniyetistatistiksel olarak önemsiz bulunmuştur. Ancak bu faktörlerin tek başınahastanenin tekrar tercihindeki etkisini görmek için elde edilen probitmodellerde yemek dışında diğer faktörlerin anlamlı olduğu sonucunaulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, yatılı olarak tedavi gören hastaların“doktor” faktöründen duydukları memnuniyet arttıkça hastaneyi tekrar tercihetme eğiliminin arttığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca ikametgah durumuna göre ise ilmerkezinde ikamet eden hastaların il merkezi dışında ikamet edenlere göre dahayüksek olasılıkla hastaneyi tekrar tercih edebilecekleri belirlenmiştir. |
