One of the most importantindicators of the increase in economic and social welfare in a country is theeconomic growth phenomenon. There are several studies in the literature thataimed to identify the components of economic growth and their contribution togrowth. In the present study, economic growth indicators were selected asinvestments, population, human capital, employment, public investments and thesize of logistics industry. To determine economic growth indicators in 34 OECDcountries, unbalanced panel analysis is conducted in the present study. As aresult, it was determined that study variables of logistics and fixed capitalinvestments were positive and statistically significant at the same time. Thisfinding reflected that the size of the logistics industry and fixed capitalinvestments increased per capita income in OECD countries. |

Birülkenin iktisadi ve sosyal refah düzeyindeki artışın en önemli göstergelerindenbiri ekonomik büyüme olgusudur. Ekonomik büyümenin bileşenleri ve büyümeyekatkılarının belirlenebilmesi amacıyla literatürde çok sayıda çalışma mevcutolup ekonomik büyümeyi belirleyen değişkenler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Buçalışmada, ekonomik büyüme belirleyicisi olarak yatırım, nüfus, beşeri sermaye,istihdam, devlet yatırımları ve lojistik sektör büyüklüğü değişkenlerialınmıştır. Çalışmada 34 OECD ülkesindeki ekonomik büyümenin belirleyicisininortaya konulması için dengesiz panel analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuçta, çalışmadeğişkenlerinden lojistik ve sabit sermaye yatırımı değişkeninin pozitif veaynı zamanda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununanlamı OECD ülkelerinde lojistik sektör büyüklüğünün ve sabit sermayeyatırımlarının kişi başına geliri artırıcı etkide bulunduğudur. |
