Mesleki ve teknik eğitimin temel amaçlarındanbirisi de insan kaynakları piyasasında geçerli olan ve ilerleme imkânı sunanbilgi, beceri ve davranışları kazandırmaktır. Bu yetileri kazanan bireylerin,iş hayatına atıldıklarında, iş ile ilgili performanslarını etkileyen en önemliunsurların başında iş ile ilgili beklentiye sahip olmaları gelmektedir. İşyaşamına ara eleman yetiştiren ve bu özelliği nedeniyle de küresel etkilere ençok maruz kalan meslek yüksekokullarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sahipolacakları meslekle ilgili olarak beklentilerinin belirlenmesinin, öğrenimgördüğü alanla ilgili tatmin düzeyinin artırılması, uygulanan müfredat ileilgili düzenlemeye ihtiyaç duyulup duyulmadığının tespiti, meslek yaşantısınahazırlanması ve uyum sürecinde karşılaşılabilecek problemlerin hızlı birşekilde çözüme kavuşturulması açısından önemli bir veri olacağıdeğerlendirilmektedir. Özellikle kamu sektöründe adalet kurumlarında iş bulmaimkânı olan adalet meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin okulu seçmelerininsebeplerinin ve mezun olacakları bölüm sayesinde edinecekleri meslekle ilgiligelecekte ne beklediklerinin olduğunun belirlenmesinin adalet programlarınagenel bakışı, istihdam politikalarının oluşturulması ve yaşanması muhtemelsorunların çözüme kavuşturulması açısından faydalı olacağıdeğerlendirilmektedir. |

One of the main objectives of vocational andtechnical education is to provide the individuals with the knowledge, skillsand attitudes that are required by the human resources market and offeropportunities to progress. One of the foremost factors affecting jobperformances of individuals having acquired these competencies is their havingoutcome expectations regarding their career choices when they get a start in abusiness life. Determining vocational outcome expectations of the studentsstudying in vocational schools that train intermediate manpower and thus arethe most exposed to the global effects is estimated to provide important datain respect to increasing the satisfaction degree with academic major,identifying whether there is a need for arrangements in the existing curriculaor not, preparation for professional life and quickly solving the potentialproblems encountered during adaptation process. In particular, identifying thereasons of students’ choosing vocational schools of justice providing jobopportunities in public justice institutions and their outcome expectationsregarding their professions that they will be able to acquire by means of theirdepartment are evaluated to be beneficial to improving public perception ofjustice programs, developing employment policies and resolving potentialconflicts about career planning. |
