İbnü’l-Arabî ile ilgili olarak kaynaklarda verilen bilgilerden hareketlediyebiliriz ki iki İbnü’l-Arabî vardır: Birincisi, Selçuklu sultanları ve Osmanlı padişahları tarafından itibar görmüş, kendisi için türbe yaptırılmış, dolayısıyla temel İslamî değerlerle çelişmesi mümkün olmayan İbnü’l-Arabî. İkincisi, eserlerini ve yaşamını Batılıların öncülüğünde tanıdığımız, İslâm’ın itikat ve muamelatla ilgili temel düsturlarıyla çelişen panteist denilebilecek düşünceler serdeden İbnü’l-Arabî. Batı da 19. asrın sonlarından itibaren ikinci tipi benimsemiş; 20. yy’nin ikinci yarısından sonra, onunla ilgili birçok kitap, makale, tez kaleme almıştır. Batı; tasavvuf, vahdet-i vücûd, insân-ı kâmil, a’yân-ı sâbite… gibi kavramlar üzerinde yıllarca düşünmüş; bu çalışmalarını önemli eserlerle taçlandırmıştır. Bu makalede, İbnü’l-Arabî’ye karşı Batı’da başlayan bu ilgi günümüz bağlamında ele alınacaktır. |

Based on the information given in the sources related to Ibn al-Arabî, we can say that there are two Ibn al-Arabî: First, Ibn al-Arabî who was respected by Seljuk sultans and Ottoman padishahs, for whom the tomb was built, therefore he is, Ibn al-Arabî who cannot be inconsistent with the basic Islamic values. Second, Ibn al-Arabî whose works and life we know under the leadership of Westerners, and he is the one who propounded the ideas regarded as pantheistic which contradicts with the creeds and procedures of Islam. West, by the end of the 19thCentury, adopted the second type; after the second half of the 20thcentury, about him, many books, articles and theses were written. West has thought for years on concepts such as Sufism, unity of existence, perfect human being, destiny (?); and it crowned this study by important works. In this study, interest against Ibn al-Arabî which began in the West will be discussed in the context of today. |
