1976’dan itibaren hikȃye yazmaya başlayan ve kullandığı farklı tekniklerle hikȃyeciliğini canlı tutmayı başaran Adalet Ağaoğlu hemen her hikȃyesinde toplumsal konularla ilgilenmiştir. Sosyalist bir dünya görüşüne sahip olan Ağaoğlu kendi ifadesiyle ʺüç darbe dönemineʺ tanıklık etmiş bir yazardır. O, şahitlik ettiği toplumsal olayları özgün bir yapı ile kurguladığı hikȃyelerinde işleyerek Türk hikȃyeciliğinde önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Bu bağlamda Türkiye’nin geçirdiği kentleşme süreci Ağaoğlu’nun hikȃyelerinde arka plan veya temel izlek olarak yer almaktadır. Kentleşme sürecinin modern insanın yaşamına getirdiği problemler, yabancılaşma, gecekondulaşma ve çarpık kentleşme gibi mekȃn ile ilgili değişiklikleri onun hikȃyelerinde takip etmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun hikȃyelerinde gözlemlenen kentleşme sürecinin hangi bağlam/bağlamlarda ele alındığını tespit etmek ve kentleşmenin yer alış biçimi ile ilgili değerlendirmede bulunabilmektir |

Adalet Ağaoğlu, who has written short story since 1976 and succeeded the revival of tradition of story-telling by applying various methods, has dealt with social issues in her stories. She identifies herself as a writer having socialist ideology and witnessing “3 coup periods”. She ranks a significant role in Turkish story-telling by using social issues which she witnessed with a unique structure. In this regard, urbanization process of Turkey has placed as a background or basic theme in Ağaoğlu’s short stories. It is possible to observe the alterations such as problems brought about human life by urbanization process, alienation, squatting and unplanned urbanization. The purpose of this study is to detect how and in which context the urbanization process in her short stories are dealt with and to evaluate the way of urbanization |
