Aile, bireyin hayata hazırlandığı ilk eğitim ortamı olduğu gibi, toplumsal huzurun tesisinde başvurulacak ilk ve en önemli sosyal kurumdur. Günümüzde, aileyle ilgili problemlerin ve boşanma oranlarının giderek arttığı gözlenmektedir. Bu nedenle, son yıllarda resmi ve sivil toplum kuruluşları tarafından düzenlenen aile eğitim programları yaygınlaşmakta, ebeveynlere çocuk gelişimi, iletişim, sağlık gibi bir çok konuda eğitimler verilmektedir. Buna karşın, din ve değer eğitimini amaçlayan aile eğitimlerinin olmaması din eğitimi ve aile eğitimi adına önemli bir eksikliktir. ebeveynlerin din ve değer eğitimine ihtiyaç duyduklarını gösteren bulgular vardır. Ayrıca, modernleşme sürecinin aile üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerinin giderilmesinde ve boşanmalardaki hızlı artışın önlenebilmesinde ebeveynlere yönelik düzenlenecek din ve değer eğitiminin olumlu katkıları olacaktır. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle aile ve aile eğitimi kavramları açıklanarak, Türkiye‟de gerçekleştirilen başlıca aile eğitim programları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonrasında ise, din ve değer eğitimini amaçlayan aile eğitimi ihtiyacının gerekçeleri üzerinde ayrıntılı olarak durulmuş ve “din ve değer merkezli” aile eğitimi önerisinde bulunulmuştur |

Family is both the first educational environment that prepares person for life and also the first and the most important social institution that can be applied for the establishment of social peace. Today, it‟s observed that problems about family and rates of divorce increase day after day. Therefore, parent education programs that are arranged by formal and nongovernmental organizations have become widespread in recent years, and educations on child development, communication, healty etc are given to parents. But however, that there are no educations which aim religion and value education is a significant deficiency in favor of education of religion and family. Whereas, in researches on parents, there are findings indicating that parents need religion and value education. Moreover, there will positive contribution of religion and value based parent education in eliminating adverse effects of modernism on family and prevention of rapid divorce increase. In this study, firstly the concepts about family and family education were explained, and the leading parent education programs implemented in Turkey were analyzed. Then, the reasons of need for parent education aiming religion and value education were dwelled on in detail, and “religion and value based” parent education was proposed |
