The purpose of this study is to examine how the institutions of market oriented business system reached the potential to be implemented in Turkey. Under what circumstances those policies were adopted and applied and what sort of international, national, field and actor based conditions were effective in their adoption was the main questions to be answered. The research is based on the theoretical frame of new institutional and macro institutional theory. This descriptive and qualitative study is conducted over the discourses and reports of big business organizations and their associations, and critical books and articles on the issue. The result of this study indicate that the conditions which drove Turkey in this period to implement structural transformations were many intertwined exogenous, endogenous and other commercial factors. The deterioriation of conditions for capital accumulation in domestic market led big organization to support this institutional transformation |

Bu çalışmanın amacı, piyasa temelli iş sisteminin kurumlarının Türkiye’de nasıl uygulama potansiyeli bulduğunu incelemektir. Bu politikalar hangi koşullarda benimsenmiş ve uygulanmıştır ve benimsenmesinde ne türden uluslar arası, ulusal, alan düzeyi ve aktörle ilgili koşullar etkili olmuştur. Araştırmanın kavramsal çerçevesi, makro ve yeni kurumsal kuram üzerine kurulmuştur. Bu betimleyici ve nitel çalışma araştırma amacı doğrultusunda derlenen iş örgütlerinin söylemleri ve dönem incelemesi yapan belgeler üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Araştırma sonucu, Türkiye’yi bu yapısal dönüşümleri uygulamaya yönelten koşullar iç, dış ve alan düzeyi koşulların iç içe geçmiş halde olduğunu göstermektedir. İçerde sermaye birikim koşullarının sonuna gelinmesinin yenilenmeyi zorunlu kılması, büyük işletmelerin kurumsal dönüşüme destek vermelerine neden olmuştur. Daha başarılı uluslararası sistemle bütünleşmenin, rekabetçi güçlerini ve içinde bulundukları finansal krizden çıkma şanslarını arttırabileceği umudu bu seçimde belirleyici olmuştur |
